I've been playing Minish Cap and Im almost finished with the game, but the game restarts when ever I reach the first tornado in Dark Hyrule Castle. Help would be appreciated. Sorry if this question has been asked before.
Could you upload a save file so we can test it please?

I think YS Menu isn't compatible with Edge because when i try to load GbaRunner.nds or whatever .nds file through YS Menu i get "Unsupported DLDI Name" error....
Launching directly from the card's menu doesn't work? AFAIK, Edge has auto-patching DLDI, like the r4 clones.

Or, you could give this a go

Probably. I'm scared that if I play any hack my progress will be wiped as the wiki says that if you SRAM patch it, it'll erase the save. You can try but I won't chance it.
Why don´t you use a back up then?

I wanted to try out GBARunner for the first time just out of curiosity but I can't get it to work. I placed a correct GBA BIOS at the right location and the option unlocked in TWI menu but when I select it it just hangs on two white screens, I can still exit to the 3DS menu just fine though.

If I try the ARM9 version standalone I get TEST written on the bottom white screen and with the ARM7 version I get 3DS Menu äßäßäßääß something written on the bottom screen. Did I miss something obvious? I'm using a new 3DS on 11.9 with Luma3DS.

Have you tried both versions of ARM9 and ARM7? Also, since you have a new 3DS, you should just use mGBA.

I suppose I can try that later but it's really not important, I know mGBA and injecting is better, I just thought GBARunner was a cool idea and wanted to try it out and wondered if I missed something obvious, that's all :)

Is there a settings menu to change controls or whatever?
Currently not. A proper menu is something I'd like at some point though.

Strange. For dsi and 3ds the arm7 version should be used. Check that there are no error codes and stuff.
