I agree, full price? No, but as a 2d Mari fan I liked it. And I never had wiiu. But I didn't pay 60$ either so I liked the game. Nice game on the go. And in my opinion that's where the switch shine. For home gaming pc and Xbox

Why are people always complaining about this? If you don't like it, don't buy it. Secondly, a lot more people have a Switch than a WiiU and therefore a lot of people haven't played it before, hence it's pretty much a new game. Thirdly, it's not a bad game so in an alternate universe where it's not a port and it's a newly released game then the price tag would be justified.

I never played the WiiU so this is pretty much a "New" game to me.

yet another PORT they're trying to pawn off as a new game at full price
Well, tbh, of it wasn't such a crappy game it wouldn't be as big of an issue. I would gladly rebuy 3dworld so I can finally play it anytime but no, they have to go for the worst mario game on the system. Aslo, I'm sure the excuse is that it comes with both the base game and Super Luigi U.

For me the problem is the relative same game as the original wii version. Of course with have new powerups and new levels but its almost the same experience.
In the NES all mario bros release 1, 2 and 3 are all so distinct from it other, that make me think thats why people are complaining about this release.
I dont have wiiu so i like it very much and will play for many hours until the end but id like to see a 2d mario revamp everything.

It's a great game and a classic and unfortunately the WiiU didn't sell enough, if it does well again in sales then big N will finally make a true sequel but it's a 2d Mario for kids to enjoy for this generation. Get over it plus it's portable now :O now bring me more Zelda

its bad enough nintendo recycle the same titles all the time but fuck me, the switch is becoming a lazy half arsed port wii u port whore.

theres litrally no incentive to even buy a switch, save your money and buy a wii u and get the same games for less.

Nope. The WiiU was an abysmal failure. It's time to accept that and move on. Nintendo is capitalizing on the success of the Switch. Backporting a missed library is smart even if you disagree.

Yeah, and it is PORTABLE, with a wii u you would only be able to play at home.
