Take Skyrim as a example-
It runs 1600 x 900 on docked mode whereas 1280 x 720 in Handheld
So,I was asking that is there any way to run it at 900p on HandHeld mode {I don't care about Battery Life or Overheating}
There's no reason to, 720p in handheld already meets the native resolution of the screen, it's like unnecessary antialiasing that won't be very noticeable on a small screen.

The Switch had a hardware downscaler since it can output 720p in docked mode, so perhaps someone could hack that to have docked output on the internal screen.

But probably wasted performance in most cases versus overclocking the portable mode.

This could be great for games that don't achieve 720p in portable mode like Donkey Kong: TF or Xenoblade 2. Maybe battery life will drain way more faster than simply OC those games.

@Raul8, you are misunderstanding something. Docked mode overclocks everything (or better say brings stock clocks) - RAM, GPU & CPU. It's not about draining battery, it's about issues with maintaining power and can be responsible for resetting or damaging battery.
Just try to overclock with m4xw OC homebrew to stock clocks, if you are sure that nothing happens. And try playing in f.e. Xenoblade 2 with modded graphics settings (because in original max resolution for undocked mode is 540p).

Good point, sorry for misinforming hehe. So, max resolution can be achieved in handheld mode with modded graphics settings? Didn't knew that. How can someone do that?

@Raul8, it depends on game. F.e. Xenoblade 2

It can mess with quality of docked mode, it's experimental. Tutorial is in first post. It's still working with adaptive resolution, but I changed settings for making 720p possible (it's not bumping ofc to 720p because of default low power, it's better for OCed Switch). Probably making red_Auto "off" will lock to 720p.
Wow nice! I'm gonna try that. Thank you!

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
