Hello,
@JeffRuLz. Could you add a feature to install DSiWares changing the "TitleID-High"? The reason is that normal DSiWares app have the value 00030004, which is subject to the free block control. If we could install them with the value 00030015 (important system app) there is no control (and thus we don't get any errors if the total installed DSiWare apps exceeds the total block number available). This is discussed in the following thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-many-dsiware-can-be-installed-with-hiyacfw.509688/

Thanks!

I've read about this before creating TMFH, but I kinda forgot about it since then.

Version 0.5.8
- Titles can now be installed as a system title, which does not count towards your internal storage space.

Also, /title/00030015/ is no longer included when counting free blocks, which is probably why it was off so badly.

Thanks! Very good job. The free block count is still really off but installing the games as system titles solves this problem.

Quick thing. I wanted to install Warioware Touched as the DSi Nintendo Club version however when I play it, there is no sound. Any solutions?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    For your R4
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
