I had used a 12 meg image (as created in ramdisk), with about 3 megs of it unused, which was locking up SNESemulDS. When I reduced it down to 11 megs it worked fine.

1 MB = 1024 KB results to 12 MB = 12288 KB maybe the little bit of more bytes overload the free space from the remaining RAM to the 16 MB DSi Ram.I think this is the malefactor.

Thanks for the update. Everything launches faster now. So many great options. I excitedly tried to launch a game from SD card that hasn't work without launching DS mode through my R4i cartridge before. TGM Terror Instinct, which is a fantastic homebrew clone of Arcade T etr is. I was so happy to see it go all the way to the splash screen with the flashing "press A", but when I press A, all I get is confirmation sound, and it crashes. I messed around with the settings to see what can be done, but I know nothing about the RAM stuff. If you want to try it, you can probably find it by searching for NDS_TGM_20080815.nds
My setup is:
N3DS with Luma
R4i Gold 3DS Plus

The TWLMenu++ settings that work to get it to flashing screen are:
Run in DS Mode
ARM9 CPU Speed 67 Mhz (splash screen won't load on 133Mhz)
VRAM boost: Off
SCFG Acceess On
Slot-1 launch method: Direct
Sound 47.61
Loading screen Regular
Bootstrap Release

For people who wants to know how to create .img file. Here's the instruction for SNES.img:

  1. Run RAMDisk

  2. Select "Create a new FAT disk"

  3. Type "28" (for 3DS) next to using ___ of the maximum 1023 Megabytes

  4. Select "Label" and type: "SNES"

  5. Select "do not create" under a TEMP directory

  6. Select "save them on shutdown" under When I make changes to the files on the disk,

  7. Use Browse to save an .img on anywhere you want to save as SNES.img

  8. Click "Start RAMDisk"

  9. Create "snes" folder under a drive letter (hard drive) that RAMDisk mounts

  10. Dump SNES roms in that "snes" folder

  11. Click "Stop RAMDisk" in RAMDisk program to close it to save SNES.img file

  12. Transfer that SNES.img to SD card

This goes the same thing for Genesis but save it as SegaMD.img

Cheers,

Make sure you don't have more than 40 DSiWare/forwarders installed.
This is the only “DSiWare” I have. Everything else is games or Eshop titles with a half dozen homebrew apps.

I should add that other cias show up immediately on my n2ds but my sons’ n3ds’s I need to run another app after I close FBI before they show up. This is the only cia that behaves that way on my device though.

Hello.:)

I´ve updated also the DSi XL (1.4.5.E with an 1 GB SD Card).
- very fast loading/booting
- Emulators works very good and fast
- DS Games starting is better than on the other DSi.I mean from 10 Games 8 starts on the first try.

The only Issue is that i can´t use the Acekard Theme.

When it´s selcted, the DSi XL won´t boot up.After Hiya CFW splash screen comes the SD Nand Launcher and when i choose the TWiLight Icon comes your Logo Splash Screen and then the two Screens stay white.I´ve tried disabling all booting Screens/SD Nand Lancher etc. to boot direct in TWiLight Menu but the issue stays.

I can reset and change the Theme to R4 or DSi or 3DS,they´re all working.:yaynds:

On the other DSi it works fine.

Thank you for reading and your time.:grog:

Yep. I have the same issue.
Hopefully this can be fixed.

EDIT: Fixed the issue by recompiling the Acekard theme. The fix will be in the next version.

Same thing has been happening to me. I never turned on the Acekard theme though. Im not sure if turning on the option to show the original ds menu is the problem but I have a feeling it might be because it happened as soon as I turned on the option and turned off my ds.

I installed Twilight menu++ version 7.2.0 but it doesn't start.
I installed the two cia on my luma3ds CFW and I enabled game patching but it doesn't start. After I press A to start Twilight menu++ on the home menu, the 3ds restarts after 15 seconds of black screen.

Have you tried rebooting your 3ds? Sometimes my (newly installed) dsi titles won't show up until after a reboot, if that doesn't work, it won't kill anyone to us cthulu to reset icon cache

Twilight Menu works fine, but when I try to launch Megaman Zero Collection for the DS (its AP patched), after the inticreates and capcom and nintendo licensing screen, the game is stuck on a black screen. I tried to non-patched version of the rom, and it loads fine but has all the graphical errors. What do I do? Again, the black screen is in the game, not the twilight launcher.

Is it set to run in DS mode, or DSi mode?
