I have RetroArch installed to be launched from the album. I was wondering why PS1 saves weren't working, but from reading online it's supposed to be a problem if you exit Retroarch via the Home button. But how do you then properly exit out of RetroArch so your saves are stored correctly?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see START+SELECT brings up the RetroArch menu by default.

Is there any way to get retroarch working properly on an exfat formated memory card? Would be nice if you didnt need to swap sd card every time you want to play the emulators. Currently got two sd cards, one for large switch games above the limit and one for retroarch

You can have everything in a fat32 sd card. About the 4gb limit, you can install large games with the usb installation functionality of tinfoil.

Little eye candy

It looks amazing. Is Overclock needed? Does it work at full speed?

Through pissing around and many hours of tinkering I've figured it out!

Try this:- Backup your retroarch.cfg and retroarch-core-options.cfg inside the retroarch folder of your SD root then unrar this to your SD root and enjoy. Please tweak and share!

Fantastic! Thank you very much. I'll take a look to understand how it has to be done.
Did you adjust that from within RetroArch only or did you have to do some manual cfg edits?

Install large games with Fluffy or AluminumFoil using the old text based Tinfoil version
or
Install them with Goldleaf
or
Make a network install with either Tinfoil or DZ tinfoil
or
Split them on PC with a python script and install them with n1dus/d0pus

There's so many ways for big NSP files.

Been using exfat on retroarch since last year and it's been fine for me.

And yeah I've accepted the risk and I was actually testing how long an exfat could survive retroarch, So far so good it's still fine up to this day.

There isn't, because it's an issue of the Switch itself and nothing that can be fixed by the RetroArch devs.
