Hello guys,
I just wanted to post something which I find pretty interesting. I own a Nintendo switch console with SysNAND 2.1.0. I bought SX OS, created an EmuNAND and updated the EmuNAND with ChoiDujourNX to 6.2.0 (also added exFAT update). Today I tried Super Bomberman R (cartridge) on the SysNAND 2.1.0 and it fully works. I read in many threads and posts that updating to anything >= 4.0.0 will update the gc reader if you don't install nogc fix. That seems to be wrong.

I hope this helps someone! :)

You didn't actually update the sysnand tho right? Only emunand?

If so that's why. What you did to the VM doesn't affect the real system.

In the same vein, you can also theoretically burn fuses with EmuNAND however there is currently no bootloader that can load EmuNAND and does not disable the fuse check.

SX OS has this patching incorporated, if you boot your emunand you will notice the cart slot doesn't work.

So when the new update launch I am going to lost emunand if I update sysnand?
