Goldleaf - A Nintendo Switch multipurpose homebrew tool

Goldleaf

Goldleaf is a multipurpose homebrew tool for Nintendo Switch!

Goldleaf.1.jpg

Similar to the well-known 3DS homebrew FBI, Goldleaf serves as a file browser/manager/editor, title manager, user account manager... and more!

Let Goldlead make your life easier while dealing with more or less technical Nintendo Switch stuff!

Anyone knows if this is possible with Goldleaf?
I just got a 256GB SD card, formatted it to FAT32 and started getting all of my games in split NSP format using splitNSP.py.
Does Goldleaf (or any other homebrew) have some sort of feature to install NSPs in the split format directly from the FAT32 SD card?

Particularly, the part about installing split NSPs with a FAT32 SD card.
I know the split NSP script created a folder with the .nsp name, and all files inside are called 00, 01, etc.
So I just want to know if it's possible to install them like that with this app.

Also, I wanted to ask if we need to put the NSPs in a particular folder, or if we can put them wherever in the SD card.

Split .nsp Installation works fine with goldleaf. I just installed over 15 splitter games on my fat32 formated microSD card. The splitted nsp files have to be in the folder the splitter created. Also be sure that this folder have the archive bit set.

Awesome!
Thanks for the confirmation. Much appreciated.
I will do the archive bit thing today with all of the folders.

One last thing, do the NSPs have to be in a particular folder, or can they go anywhere in the SD with Goldleaf?

Never liked the splits.. It's annoying. Why bother with split .nsp installation ? Goldleaf (I dont know if its stable for one file) abut tinfoil usb installed can take care of one file for fat32 easy.

The NSPS have to reside in the folder your splitting tool puts them. This folder you can copy anywhere on your microSD. Since goldleaf is also a filebrowser it doesent matter where you put those folders.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Web browsing should be stable, only thing to point out: enter valid URLs, starting with "http(s)://", otherwise expect crashes (already trying to fix them)

Just tried the latest nightly. The browser doesent work at all. Nothing happens if i select "browse the Internet".

Did you try it from hbmenu or the installable one? Is the most latest one? Some changes have been done

I download the latest nightly from here:

hxxxs://bsnx.lavatech.top/goldleaf/

But i can only find a nro, nso and elf in the zip.
Where can i get the latest installable NSP Version?

Guys, what happens when I mix the web-applet I've just managed to use and Goldleaf?

View attachment 155452 View attachment 155453

Yeah guys, as I've told you several times, it was just a matter of time that we would manage to use the console's internal browser, and Goldleaf is the first tool to have it supported.
Go give it a try on the latest nightly build!

I'm really happy for being the first dev to get this applet working!

Holyshit!
This is awsome!

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.

I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.

I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.

South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.

@BigOnYa were you always up to date on the current events and issues of the time or were there issues that you first found out thru south park
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Most of the time yea I knew, I watch and read the news regularly, but sometimes the Hollywood BS stuff, like concerning actors slip by me. I don't follow most Hollywood BS (example: the Kardasians)

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa there were relevant issues before south park was made, that's why i think a south park prequel/spinoff would be great. Randy and his friends in their child hood

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, like them running in high school together, getting into stuff, and how they got hitched and had kids. And how the town of South Park was back then compared to now. That would be cool to see.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's too late
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the older south park episodes about particular issues usually age poorly since the topic is no longer relevant

an exception is giant douche vs turd sandwich, that's always relevant :P
