Just do the ChoidujourNX update to 6.2.0 and don't boot into official firmware so you can preserve your fuse to downgrade again back to 2.0.1 , coldboot is just a myth now, no guarantees or estimate time of release.

You won't magically earn anything extra on a 2.0.1. There are plenty of them in the wild if you look for them. Either you enjoy it, or sell it for a used price.
Heck I rather send my 2.0.1 (I happened by mistake blow fuses) to @mattytrog and ask him to put in a "modchip" for me if I really need "real" coldboot.

Well until it is public release let just call it a myth lol or I guess better word is work in development, SciresM is very good at cfw related stuffs.
Exactly, that is what he say. Coldboot will most likely NEVER happen. Nintendo have stepped up their security. People don't seem to realize this. b9s seemed to be a real fluk of a find and it took almost the whole 3DS lifespan to find it.
Ain't easy to be honest, that why I have an unit sitting at 1.0.0, I want to see what SciresM might do. Like what you said the next closest thing to a coldboot is getting a mod chip installed.
Now that's a rare Switch. Launc hdays/close to launchday switches are a lot harder to find that haven't been updated.

Thank you shall I keep it on the low for now as I play my sons console so I can sit on this for a while
2.X consoles aren't really rare. Heck I found a 3.X console the other week. So sure, sit on it. But don't expect it to be a goldmine. I talked about a 1.0.0 console. They're very rare!
