Hey there went ahead and did that..also did the test of the Nintendo DS connection and passed..so now Im at this part:
K done downloading the Nintendo Fan Network..already got the 7zip and am changing the file extension on my windows PC now..next will download those files now

- The latest Homebrew Menu from here
- The "private" archive, from here.
- Take your SD card out of your console.
- Put the SD card into your computer, navigate to it and open the "Nintendo 3DS" folder.

they assume you have used the sd card with the console
power on the console and insert the sd card. the console will create the required folder
Yeah I feel really silly not realizing there is NO SD card slot on the Nintendo 3DS..that slot is for game carts only..I have the MicroSD card that I already took out from underneath the console, its 16GB Sandisk..and in that folder already exists the DCIM and the Nintendo 3DS folder
If anyone else reading this thread is wondering, the answer is of course just a Google away:
So, Nintendo Fan Network works with this new option but not Seedminer because that's just how it is.
we can no longer buy or download games or dsiware from nintendo eshop, so how am i to homebrew my 3ds. the only things available are updates ?

@K3Nv2 I did that using Citra for 3DS games. Bottom screen was my smartphone. Until I got the touch screen. -
