Hi, cheat codes aren't available at the moment, (or as far as I know, I have completely revised the options and they're still not available), they're working on it. I think the only way at the moment is modifying the rom with trainers or patching cheats on it.
every game i tried on DSi (no CFW, FlipnoteLenny) doesn’t work all i get is a white screen deep down EVERY rom worked on the 3DS version (I no longer have said 3DS)

You need CFW to use TWiLightMenu.
Install HiyaCFW, it's pretty easy. It even has an installer: HiyaCFW Helper.
but then why is there an install tutorial for 3ds/2ds and dsi’s that have no cfw
You can access the menu, but you can't play roms.
I'm not sure why Robz8 included it in the tutorial, but I'm pretty sure you can't play roms without CFW.

someone on discord told me to use the 11.2 bootstrap and it works
Had the same trouble these last days.
Redone my NAND dump with fwtool and used HiyaCFW Helper.
Everything works now.
And don't forget to point once more the NOBUTTON entry inside UNLAUNCH on HIYACFW instead of TWLMENU, otherwise it will not work also.
The latest nds-bootstrap release is 0.14.1, there is no 11.2. If you are referring to 0.11.2, it's a pretty old release, you should always use the latest, since the compatibility is better.
I also have a DSi, and when I go directly into twilightmenu, without Hiya, the games won't boot.

well i dont have CFW and with bootstrap 0.11.2 (i call it 11.2) it works (i’m on DSi)
heres what i’m using
bootstrap 0.11.2
no CFW (i’m using Flipnote Lenny DSiWare exploit)
2GB sandisk SD Card (idk if its because your SD Card or not)
my DSi is on 1.4.5E
granted any version above 0.11.2 won’t work

I’m still on DSiMenu++. Am I supposed to update to TwilightMenu++ and if so, how do I do that?
Yes, you should update. See here how to do it.
Yes, The DSi has some issues with SD cards bigger than 2gb, but with TWiLightMenu that shouldn't be a problem.
I'm confused though, you started by saying that none of your games worked, now you are saying the opposite. But I'm glad that they work, problem solved then.

Even though I’m updating you Twilight from DSiMenu, do I still have to install the Menu++ Launcher or just the 2 cias in the cia folder?
