Latest update has been working well for me, used nro2nsp... averaging 70fps on 1.0.0 in blue shift, was ~60fps on v0.4.0. Still shows the FPS counter though even though patchnotes said it was taken out, not a big deal I like having it there anyways was going to turn it back on.

Also doesnt seem like it got fixed, but when you try to Save a game the subtitle is misspelled, right now it says "Save curret game" just a small thing there, again not a big deal. Thanks for the update though!

Tried setting overclock to the max, makes literally 0 difference on my end, still 70fps with stock or max. So going to leave it at stock obviously.

Looking forward to the decay port! Only beat it once so going back is going to be good fun. Keep on it :)

This worked 30 FPS for me last time I tried and everyones saying it's steady 60 now?

Hmm.... Gotta give this another go once I get home from work. First time playing Half Life!

Yeah, definitely 70fps for me here. Might have a couple frames drop here and there? Atleast its 70 now so dropping 5 frames might not make a visual difference. It has freezes often though, I think its because the game auto-saves a ton, apparently you can turn that off in the .cfg though. Just manually save.

Might want to save often if you turn it off, I havent done it but say if you die and your last save was 3 maps ago... that could be frustrating haha.

You need enable “console” under Configuration > Switch, then press “-“ to enter in console mode, then type
Code:
cl_showfps “0”

@Datamats @sj33 Hello, trying to beat Blue Shift and have been having a problem; the game is crashing when trying to backtrack after turning the generators on (the area with the blue coolant).

I just get stuck at the Loading screen then the game crashes back to the home menu. Ended up taking a couple extra snaps so you know where im at currently.

The game seems to freeze here and crash, have tried about 5 times to redo this... no luck. Could it be I have a corrupted blueshift folder? Hopefully its working for other people and they can chime in.

I think there is a way to skip this whole part with a speedrun trick? Haha maybe ill try that out if I get bored enough. Wonder if I could do it on the switch. Or maybe is there a way to activate cheats? cucholix just explained to me how to use the console, might give that a go (sv_cheats 1, noclip) to get past.

Heres just a snapshot of the typo.
Running xash3d v1.0.0 from github, used nro2nsp to convert.

edit: Also as a sidenote, there was an area that tanked my FPS down to like ~5-10. Pretty much unplayable but I ended up slogging through it. It was at the Xen world where you're trying to turn the crystal transmitter thing on (where you have to turn the 2 dials). Overclock to max gave me a couple extra frames to make it easier getting past that part.
