Hacking Confirmation to update 6.2.0 having Atmosphere (0.8.1)

Good afternoon.
I am currently in Original Firmware 6.1.0, im not in a rush to update.
I am able to launch atmosphere (Latest version) Using SX PRO dongle, having every file needed to boot it (Fusee primary.bin)
I am in SX OS ver 2.0 Using Fat32
I have my nand back up files using SX OS (Boot0 and boot1 with the rest of the files in my PC folder)
If i update to Original Firmware 6.2.0
Will i be able to use atmosphere CFW without problems?

Yes you can update without a problem but why would you even want to update best to stay where you're at right now

Not true. The rcm flaw is in hardware not software and can't be fixed by an OS update. Rcm loads before any OS files.

Again wrong... hekate is a boot loader and all current boot loaders bypass the fuse burning. Only stock boot loader as in no payload injected going from cold/off right into ofw

I think the op should stay on the lowest firmware that he wants to be able to play games.
If op wants to upgrade make sure you have auto rcm on so the stock boot loader doesn't burn fuses. Using a payload is a boot loader and all current do NOT burn fuses.
Atmosphere is designed to work on all firmware the patches to load backups are not tho so you will need to use firmware relevant ones.
I don't know how good sx os backup is so I would use hekate to do another one.
Use choidujour to update your system as this will enable auto rcm by default. A update via official means will turn off auto rcm and unless you jig and rcm when it resets after the update it will burn fuses which will as Mike sort of said stop you from downgrading.
You will be able to downgrade but you won't be able to boot cold to the downgraded OS without the rcm me method

That's a lie, a horrible lie. I legit just hacked my 6.2 switch yestersay using a SX Pro. You should be ashamed for spreading this kind of lies.

yeah, I was wrong about that. I'm a noob, so I don't really know. I'll just delete the post so as to not confuse people.

No worries it's all good. Just edit the post to remove the info you out and that's it.

Just know, it's a hardware exploit. The only way they can patch the exploit is by patching units(on the factory) so they don't accept payloads(aka the Mariko units)

If you have any questions just ask us, we prefer that you ask since it'll be way better so this kind of misinformation does not happen.

I don't know why you would say I'm butt hurt. I don't think I've been rude or insulting. I was just wrong and thought JaRock was wrong, and I didn't want their information to hurt potential noobs. I've seen friends brick PSP's and 3ds' on misinformation. I just didn't want it to happen to the OP.

And no. You've mis-read my post. I read the guide before following the instructions, so I didn't burn any fuses. I just mentioned the guide because it wasn't a really good guide for noobs. I actually read at least 3-4 different guides before modding.

Yeah, I was wrong about somethings and changed my post. Like I said, I'm new here. But thanks you for post tho.

I sincerely thought that what Ja was saying was wrong, and I didn't want noobs hurt because of it. But alas it turns out that I was wrong. Thank you all for telling me that. I'm just glad we snipped that in the bud. On a side note, try being a bit more polite next time, haha. No need for the attitude. We can be all be civil here.

Thars why capital letters in places can express emotion to convey that emotion also how things are worded as it worded a little different can show different expression. Just letting you know how some of your posts come across
