Bought a switch in europe today, the serial say XFL701240 and some more numbers in the end, i guess this is the the patched version? Sorry for asking, thx for a reply.

Also im thinking to buy the diablo version of the switch (the switch in a diablo theme) do you think this one is hackable because it seems like this is an older one.
again thx for anyone that clears the sky. Happy days to all of you ;)

Sorry, but no idea. That's the first time I hear about the XFL7 series. Are you sure that's not a typo?

Double checked but the serial number is under my switch and say XFL701240, this does not look good :P np I think the diablo themed switch is an older one, will need 2 switches anyway, one for online and one for (softmodded)for offline

I'd say just try to inject a payload. If you already plan to buy a second one, then no need to return it.
Injecting a payload is completely safe.

Thanks for helping me out!

Yes will keep this one for online and buy another one from an online store with the correct serial number.

Dunno what you're wanting to hear but you won't know unless you try it
i'd need a jig, plus only have a wired controller and one joycon,is there a fast easy way just to check without modding
too lazy to sift though everything,id only want to check i have a usbc cord just no jig,and the right joycon(thanks nintendo)ill get my right one back in a month.

you can make a jig with a paperclip or something similar very easily, only way of testing is via the jig method

Your reply will be helpful for me to decide

Serials beginning with XAJ1:
XAJ1002000X and below are safe to buy
XAJ1002100X and above not safe to buy, possibly patched
XAJ1003000X and above definitely patched
