Are there sellers who sell tested switches on e.g. ebay, or do you have to buy one and hope it works (and if it doesn't return it)?
When you buy in store you can look at the barcode there is a little cutout on the box.
Match it with the table one first page.
Or if you buy it used on Ebay, ask them for serial code, then check it here with the serials in first post.
Currently, "patched" units are impervious to the current exploit Fusee Gelee. There may be some hope on the horizon from them in the form of the warmboot exploit, Deja Vu however but Deja Vu only works on specific firmwares.

Guys, I tried every step, and I can't go into the CFW.
At first, I got only a black screen, so i retried.
Second time, i got the ReiNX screen, but after, a black screen and nothing else.
So i tried again, waited a long time, and it started, on the normal screen of switch, with nothing on the album.

So i formated my SD on several Allocated Sizes, exFAT, FAT32, and nothing works. What am i doing wrong?

I think he did a decent job of answering your question. If you can't find a seller on ebay who specifies that he tested his Switch to make sure it's not patched, you should try to ask the seller for the serial number, and check it out yourself here before ordering. Makes perfect sense. Besides, a seller tech savvy enough to know that there are patched and unpatched units out there, would definitely sell you his unpatched Switch overpriced. If you want to save money, seek a seller who is unaware and just ask him for the serial.
Don't worry, your Switch is hackable OK. Just reformat the SD card and start from scratch to install the CFW. https://reinx.guide/ Don't forget to make a NAND backup first.
I have a XAW1006757XXXX and it seems to not be able to enter RCM.
Am I a complete moron or does the first line say XAW1007 and below are safe to buy? Wouldnt that make the one I have work with RCM?
