Airplane Mode to prevent accidental connection to Nintendo Hotspots (think 3DS Spotpass)
They will be wiped out which is why you should back them up as well with either a NAND backup or a save manager homebrew application such as Checkpoint or EdiZon.If I'm busy with constant NAND backups and restores, what will happen to my modified save files?
Nope, no SX OS EmuNAND bans so far so it must be working. Meaning its ok to play online in SysNAND and offline in EmuNAND.Is there any sx os (sd)emunand ban confirmed?
And at this current versión it's safe to play online in ofw with the cfw offline on the emunand, or it's another ban wave posible? thanks

Additional Comments
I have been using sx dongle and sxos pretty much since it came out. I only do XCIs and stay in airplane mode with wifi settings deleted. The only homebrew i've used is hekate to dump my keys and nand. I have converted a few NSPs to XCI, never received any errors or crashes on my switch. About three months ago while on 5.1 i connected to the eshop to dl a game. fast forward to now, i needed a sys update to play a new game. I updated in official firmware to 6.1, was able to access eshop. I did not restore my nand prior to updating. back to airplane mode and sxos
would like to report an update. i updated to 6.2 via ofw and was still able to access the eshop afterwards, no nand restore. nothing has changed in terms of how i use my switch. airplane mode and XCIs only, the only new thing i did was download the smash bros unlock save file and install with checkpoint.
So you are banned for just using xcis? Did you try using emunand?
Its safer to use ChoiDujour over ChoiDujourNX since the former relies on RCM while the latter uses CFW/homebrew. RCM is virtually undetectable since it is triggered before the NAND but CFW/homebrew are loaded while the NAND is running making it slightly riskier. Same applies to Hekate; it is loaded exclusively in RCM so Nintendo shouldn't be able to detect it.Just want to make sure I’m correct on this one, my friend wants to update his 4.1, he never modified it in anyway yet, I just want to confirm if he backs up his switch using hekate that does not modify the switch in anyway, so he can’t get banned from online play. I’m assuming at this point as long as he stays offline, he can use choidujour to update to 6.2. Is the use of choidujour actually detected or Homebrew use for that matter. Even though using any cfw is a risk, I would think using atmosphere might be the better choice. I don’t think anyone ever got banned using atmosphere, especially for a few minutes.
You would try logging into your account on their website. Also if you could fill out a ban report form, that'd be great. Is there a way to check if your account is banned? My switch is banned, but I have a new Switch that I'm planning on putting my account on (since I own a lot of eshop games).

I recommend updating manually games by merging the update into the XCI file... Offline. Avoiding unnecessary request to Nitendo servers, that will help you a lot to avoid bans.i understand when you use a CFW (sx os in my case) there is always a ban risk.
If on an Emunand, is there an increased ban risk for:
1) Updating XCI files using a NSP update file
2) Adding an NSP file to the emunand?
To clarify, I know there is already a risk when you use CFW to run backup xci's.. just wondering if these two points increase the risk when using an emunand or it's probably just the same...?
thanks!
Would you recommend removing the SD before booting OFW?Nope, no SX OS EmuNAND bans so far so it must be working. Meaning its ok to play online in SysNAND and offline in EmuNAND.
