School Rush got an update!
The secret level is now integrated into the game design. Good news is that the "swim up for your life" has been extended to all the levels. That should make the game more fair.

BEST HOMEBREW GAME IVE PLAYED SENTs SUPER MARIO WAR!!!
Thank you.

I'm at last done with a new build.
- you can get 1-UPs by collecting letters. Everytime you get one, the next one will be more "expensive", though.
- every loading screen show how long it took you to get there and how far was that "there".
- there is a "congratulations" level at the end of the 'secret, good ending'
- there is a "game over" screen
- in both case, a hiscore table will show up. You'll compete for the shortest time if you found the good exist, and for going as far as possible (in pixels) if you're game over.
FIXMES:
- it is not yet possible to change your name in that high score table: you're "Player One" (yes, I've read the book ;)
- there is no memory of that high score table whatsoever. Not even between rushes. If you're proud of your score, you can shoot a picture of it and post on twitter with #BilouSchoolRush to mimmic a leaderboard :-P

Almost done. Do you think it makes sense to offer the option **not** to write scores to the SD card ?
If there's a limit to the number of scores displayed on the leaderboard (scores not good enough to fit get deleted), I don't see the point. However, if the game just saves new scores indefinitely, taking up more and more space, I think there should be an option to limit that.

there are only 8 "challengers" (haven't completed the game) scores and 8 "heroes" game. The only reason would be not to trash the SD card with excessive writes (well, the score file being hardly 1 block, it would take you many many games before that happens, I agree).

Oops. My 5-year-old found out that I was missing a collision test, preventing him from dispatching those nasty pendats. Since it's easier for me to patch the game than for him to improve his aiming skills, I put the patch online

Oh, and btw, I made another gif of it, so that you can at last see that it's intended to focus on **speed**.
