An NSP file is a game package used by the Nintendo Switch console, An XCI file contains an encrypted backup of a Nintendo Switch game, which is a dump of a Nintendo Switch game cartridgeJust asking
That's correct. And only SX OS supports XCI directly.Ok so I thought nsp was eshop games and xci was cartridge dumps lol
That's correct. And only SX OS supports XCI directly.
What that's actually doing is converting them to NSP, so it's not direct support. XCI files aren't installed on SX OS, they're ran directly. Not true, I have been using dopus to install my xci files on atmosphere with no problems on my 3.0 switch. However ever since I updated to 5.1, converted to exfat and been installing a few nsps my xci files aren't able to be installed.
When it comes to installing xci files on atmosphere, note that you cannot install split xci files like sxos can so FAT32 isn't an option for xci files bigger than 4gb
If anybody can specifically pinpoint what's the issue with whatever is keeping me from installing my xci files that would be awesome
Much love and thanks in advance

Or just install them with zerotwoxci - works perfect even on 6.2.0Right ok so you can load xci files onto switch atmosphere .and n1dus converts them to nsp on the switch and they boot? Lol
