ok thanks I am having trouble finding ofw 6.2.any suggestions?
Xbins host them on their FTP server. Their website has instructions on how to connect to their server.
I think that someone could make Checkpoint to backup or restore the saves in RCM without go to CFW, so is it possible?
Possible yes but I don't know of any developers interested in such a payload. Homebrew is much more convenient to work with because it doesn't have a size limit, access to more of the system's memory, and can be loaded without repeatedly booting the console since a payload can only be sent in RCM.

i wait also for savegame RCM Payload i think with this we are 99% save from banning if we use (only) this on the switch

Use homebrew only for backup and restore the saves with Checkpoint is very low risk for ban if you do offline, delete CFW contents from SD card and don't edit the saves for Splatoon 2 and possibly Diablo 3 and Pokemon, or making separate profile for hacked saves that can used offline only.

freezer im right there with you plunged into 6.2 on the emu and the ofw. its good to go now .

Are you gonna have wifi enabled in ofw all the time or blocking update servers with DNS? About that.. What DNS are recommended now? 90DNS blocks all of N:s services, right? So that's not an option if you want to be connected normally in ofw. Is 104.236.106.125 good for blocking only updates?

Previous Updates:
Okay so just a mini update (so that I won't personally forget when I did this) but I dumped my NAND today 12/15/18 and stored it on PC and I also created an emuNAND (hidden partition on MicroSD).
All this was done on SXOS 2.4Beta and on ofw 6.2.0. I'm still good and not banned as of this post. I would love to put a theme on my system but have no clue how. It's for testing purposes (bans) so can anyone point me in the right direction? Hopefully make it as simplistic as possible. If not then it's okay and thank you :D

With ChoiDujourNX, you have a slight risk since that involves booting CFW/homebrew. With ChoiDujour, your risk is greatly diminished since it relies on RCM which is virtually undetectable since it is loaded before the NAND.
Are there reports of people getting banned for using ChoiDujourNX to update?

There were 2 reports when firmware 6.0 just came out. Now I don't think it was inherently ChoiDujourNX or the fuses that got them caught but the fact that they updated offline to a firmware that is not available on a cartridge which is a huge red flag to Nintendo. A safer way of updating offline is letting the console download the system update then updating offline with ChoiDujour/ChoiDujourNX.

drax how do you instruct the switch when in ofw to download the ofw but not install it?

after that is done where do you instruct choidujour to find the said firmware to install it - also is there a .bin for choidujour we can run in the payloads inside sx os to avoid the NX you said which is less secure than the non NX version? thanks so much!

Basically you have to connect the console online without any custom DNS settings meaning you have to risk a ban which makes sense since you can't check if you're banned without risking it.

Also ChoiDujour only comes as a Window client (.exe) and as a homebrew application, ChoiDujourNX (.nro). To add insult to injury, ChoiDujour doesn't support firmware 6.2 so the only way to update offline to firmware 6.2 is with ChoiDujourNX.

Is 6.2 available on a cartridge? because I already pulled the trigger and updated with choudoinx and went online still not banned as of now

Nope, not even firmware 6.0 is available on any cartridges.
Well I updated to 6.2 on ofw before but made the mistake of restoring 6.0.1 and got stuck because of burnt fuses so had no choice but to update with chuodorinx.did you think because I was on online with 6.2 ofw in the past, that I won't raise a red flag

If you already updated to 6.2 officially, then I think you were fine with updating back to 6.2 again with ChoiDujourNX. In fact, I believe it would have been a bigger red flag if you updated officially to 6.2 again on the same console.

Great! How "clean" do you think my nand is at the moment from being in cfw 6.0.1 using chuodorinx to update to ofw 6.2 with auto RCM not installed. Would there be any crash reports or anything else?

If you were running Atmosphere, it should prevent any error reports from being logged since it comes with creport and fatal error mitigation by default.

I'm a bit confused on using online. If I want to play online on a clean (ish) NAND (no nsps but have used homebrew), would booting atmosphere and playing on that result in a ban? I don't want to boot ofw and burn my fuses.
