As long as i Try to install nsp through newest sx os 2.4 (OFW 6.2.0), the icon is blank and it says at the attempt to install "could not read NSP"
I've tried other NSPs that used to work and it is the same thing
anyone can help?

Are you using the sx os native nsp installer? Have you tried using tinfoil or devMenu instead? Personally I’ve installed a few updates and dlc through devMenu without an issue, I’m also running 6.4 beta with 6.2.0.

Yeah i'm using SXOS native installer, because i use an external drive to install (usb c EASY support only by sxos installer)

I tried with tinfoil it is working indeed.
What is happening with native SXOS installer? it is a pity that we cant use an OTG install from an external hard drive
have you tried it?

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm also getting this error.

Update: Issue fixed in SX OS 2.4.1b

The integrated installer is based on an ancient version of Tinfoil that's known to corrupt installs, that's probably your issue.
Latest Tinfoil should support USB.

Looks like you're right - Tinfoil installed them all just fine. Maybe that NSP installer TX showed off in their new video might... help...? Maybe?

Update: Tinfoil workaround no longer needed. Both the SX Installer 1.0 and the fix issued in SX OS 2.4.1b works.

I also experienced the same issue with carcassonne but with 2.2.1
So this is not 2.4 related

Already reported the bug.

could it be an error due to not enough disk space in location you all are installing it to. I just tried to install starlink V(0) and the update I had. Saw it was 1.01 and got the new 1.02 update. only had 17.8 gb on sys hdd but all 3 files were like 20 gb all together. I assumed that v1.02 would overwrite a bunch of v1.01 not just add the 2 in total. Got some type of error in the end of install. then I deleted to start from scratch and I had somehow lost almost 6 gb of space. my delete was was only registering V(0) and 1.01. the error somehow made it so v1.02 was taking up the space that was installed before error but not showing any software data anywhere on the system. finally i just installed 1.02 by itself and it showed a bunch of .nca were "already installed" while it was installing the nsp. then I deleted it again, as now it showed software data in data management settings. got my lost hdd space back.

Just wanted to put my two cents in. I used TX's new "SX Installer" (found on their website, v1.0), and that also seemed to fix this same error for me. It for some reason isn't mentioned in their 2.4 update notes, but is mentioned in their "Features" video at the bottom of the post.

It's pretty neat, as it has an integrated filebrowser among other things. Try this. It may work for you.

EDIT: Haha, right after I said that it wasn't mentioned, they just went ahead and put up a dedicated post for it, on their website :)

weird, ive been able to install nsp files with zero problems. I wonder what was causing it. glad to hear the new update helped everyone. after reading notes on 2.4.1 beta i guess it must have only been certain nsp related to very new games.
