Hacking Question Installed game update too high for firmware on sx os

im on 6.1 with sx os and i accidently updated xenoblade 2 with an update that requires 6.2 i guess and says i need to update the fw. Anyway to fix this? I backed up the save with checkpoint at least.

Try deleting the game and then put in again only the base game you have that should work.

Alright ill try that. Its an xci dump so should i just delete the game off my sd then put it back on?

wont work. once you install the latest update, the switch will say you must update in order to play your game if you delete and reinstall.

try install the update again using tinfoil and choose yes on Ignore Firmware Requirement

I forgot, try use the one in the zip
https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases
put update file to microsd:\tinfoil\nsp\filename.nsp

no worries, i just reinstalled the update with the tinfoil i had and it worked like a charm. Thanks for your help bro!

You should probably update Tinfoil, older versions are known to corrupt games sometimes. https://github.com/digableinc/tinfoil/releases
