Looking forwards to the patch being complete! I can make some sense of the story with my basic knowledge of japanese, but a lot of the attack and item effects are beyond what I can read lol. Thanks!

I won't. Given how much text is in this game (as well as how much of it are dummy or unused entries), it's hard to accurately give a percentage of what's done and I rather use that time calculating a percentage on actually working on it. If people REALLY WANT it, I can put a list of what's done and what isn't, otherwise I'll just continue with my current method of simply providing screenshots whenever I figure out how to change the text in certain parts of the game that I previously couldn't.
I take it you're doing this solo? I think there's probably enough interest to drum up a team of people to help ya translate it if you want. I can understand if you want to do this by yourself, but like you said the amount of text in the game is insane. Maybe think about branching out and getting some help? I know it's taken Iwakura Productions at least 4 years to translate Eternal Punishment for the PSP.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure too... Joker's not in Smash for no reason (and I think it's unlikely that reason would be a P5 port).
True, but Atlus self published that (not to mention it was a rerelease/remake anyway), Sega's publishing of Atlus' titles has, so far, bought everything to the West.

That's a very good point: There's tons of text in the game and you are going to need a helping hand if you want to get through it. Just let us know, there's people out there more than willing to help!

translation takes time, plus it looks like one person is just doing it, sure menu translations look like they can be done fast but there is a lot of text

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1
