Hacking Which Card Should I Get?

Dear GBATemp community,

I actually created this account only for this, I want some trusty suggestion on which R4i Card to buy (preferably from nds-card, as it is safe). I want it to be able to be delivered to Greece (please tell me how to order for Greece, I want to avoid extra fees). My DSi has the latest firmware (1.45) and I want a cheap option under 15 Euros, without a timebomb.

So basically I want an R4i Card under 15 Euros for the latest firmware, without timebomb and trustworthy. Please don't suggest me over 15 Euros as I don't have enough savings.

The R4i Gold Plus, all of the other R4i-clones have a timebomb and are literally just the same cart.

The card you listed is at 20, I said I can't afford more than 15 sadly. Also, I don't think all other clones have a timebomb. Am I screwed?

I just need a cheap option, so I can finally play with my DSi

The only other R4i carts that can work on the latest DSi OFW are the R4i-SDHC/R4iSDHC brand carts, which all have timebombs. I can confirm based the fact that I literally own all of the carts sold on nds-card, that the R4i-SDHC/R4iSDHC brand carts have timebombs.
You can hack DSi and use TWiLight Menu++ (nds-bootloader,) which has decent DS support, but there's really no cheap flashcart that will work on stock OFW without a timebomb.

So, basically I just want a sure option. I heard good things about r4isdhc. com. cn cards, but the site seems to be down right now. I guess I am ok with timebombs as long as I can bypass them with a menu/changing date. What should I do?

I had actually forgotten about the R4iSDHC.com.cn cart because I keep forgetting it's actually a completely different brand!
So this one right here actually does run Wood R4 and doesn't have have a timebomb.

Maybe by 2021 YSMenu 7.06 for r4isdhc.com will be out

But I'm still no fan of those due to their lack of build quality and spontaneous bricking...

(I have no opinion about r4isdhc.com.cn)

However, I am concerned because the website is down right now. I am gonna get that card, just curious, how will I get the firmware?

Also, please go into detail on how to order it for Greece to avoid postal and extra fees!

I don't have details for Greece since I don't live in Greece. Shipping should be free, but I don't know Greek shipping prices.

Well general advice for shipping would be good, should i go for free?

EDIT: I will go for registered, however is using my credit card there safe?

It is heavily frowned upon to bump your own threads. We are volunteers here and often times have our own personal matters to attend to.

I use free shipping and it always gets to my place within about 9 days. Some have reported longer wait time, but always get their item within the same month that the item was ordered.
It is safe to use a credit card, but it's also on your bank's end if they allow the transaction to go through. You can pay with PayPal, but it does require a roundabout method to get the email to send the payment to.

I would use a card that you don’t really use to much, but it should be safe. Make sure that your credit card doesn’t have fraudulent charges on it afterwards.

Thanks for your response and sorry for bumping, I fully understand that but as I said I'm on a rush to make that order. I will use my credit card, I'm pretty sure my bank allows buying from China.

I guess I will use my normal card, as Lilith said it's safe and they also are GBATemp sponsors. I am still concerned because of previous issues with them showing movement on accounts or not completing payments. I hope they have improved.

Just a problem I may have. I have no address here in Greece, I can only providethe name of my small town. Where will the product be delivered?
