Hello,

how can i check which firmware version an update in the .nsp format requires?

I tried it with XCI Explorer and i can see the Masterkey version, SDK version etc... of the main game, but not of the update.

Any similar tool for MacOS users ?

Envoyé de mon ONEPLUS A6003 en utilisant Tapatalk
unfortunately no

Thank you, this tool works.
But is it normal that some nsps show a "0" in the firmware column and some nothing at all (just a blank space)?
please check the Source column
for nsps with NCA as the source, that means the required files needed to get the firmware requirement is missing, so it just shows blank
as for nsps with firmware requirement "0", that means it can be installed on any firmware

Thank you for the explanation. Are there any disadvantages of NSPs build from a NCA source? Are they potentially dangerous?

based on the one I have, these NSPs do not have valid signature so we don't know if it's legit or not. same thing with NSP converted from XCI
