Hello,

I'm having a hard time installing a mod for Pokemon Let's Go on SXOS (diovento).

I downloaded the mod, put the archive at the root of the SD card, and renamed the atmosphere folder 'sxos'.

Problem is, the Switch can't boot into CFW afterward. If I rename the folder 'atmosphere', it seems to be able to boot, but the mod don't work.

I have the latest version of SXOS, Hekate and Kosmos installed. (Updated today).

What should I do ? Thank you.

How are all of these CFW's and Game Hacks created? I'm curious to know that side of things!
Lots of lots of time spent reverse engineering the console as well as how things run on it. For the Switch, the most comprehensive place that with that type of information can be found on Switchbrew.

Having errors running games. It says unable to start software. Return to the HOME menu and try again. Then it checks for corrupted data.

I'm running 6.0.1 on AMS 0.8.1
I'm trying to run an XCI file (super smash). I used Zerotwoxci to install it. It didn't give me any issues besides saying something about Ticket Installation. I am also having the same issue with Pokemon: Let's go Pikachu.

I tried looking into what the error might be and tried some different things. I'm leaning towards converting it to an NSP file but figured that you guys probably know where I'm messing up. Any help/suggestions is/are appreciated.

Hi, recently I installed an NSP (Superbeat xonic) with Tinfoil and when I start it it freezes and then I got to hold the power button to force shut off the console. This happened on 6.2.0 Atmosphere 0.8.1 so I thought maybe it was a bad NSP and I tried 3 different NSPs of this game and Superbeat xonic ex and still got the same problem. Today I saw that the new Reinx cfw was released so I set up everything reinstalled the game and instead of freezing it says a software error has occurred and sends me back to the home screen. I also tried installing to NAND and ignoring the firmware on Tinfoil. I even tried deleting "fs_mitm.kip" from sysmodules. All of my other NSPS work fine. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

For the Switch, it's 6.0.1. For SXOS, it's 2.3 beta.
Try switching to their non-beta release. The thread doesn't state that SX OS is supported so its possible you may have to use a

Atmosphere doesn't support installed .XCI files; that is a ReiNX exclusive feature.

Atmosphere 0.8.2 is out so you can give that a try. Make sure you don't delete the patches when updating. If you do delete them and don't have a backup, they can be redownloaded from here. This may also be a weird suggestion, but try booting the game on a lower firmware; CFW and homebrew aren't fully supported on 6.2 so 6.1 is still the best for hacks.

Hey, so I haven't followed the whole scene for like a year, so I guess I'm a noob now hehe...

A few weeks ago, I manged to make a NAND, Keys, etc. Backup and update my switch from 3.0.0 to 6.1.0 with ChoiDujourNX. I'm currently running Kosmos 11.0.1. I haven't done anything besides enabling 90DNS, backing up my saves, dumping my cards to .xci files and check the config of hekate (currently on 4.2) via ftp.

There are two questions which aren't answered on the FAQ and the last ten pages.
After updating with ChoiDujourNX, the nogc flag got set in my hekate.ini. Even though I was able to dump and play game cards on Firmware 6.1.0. This means, that my game card controller got updated, am I right?

Now I want to update to Kosmos v11.5. I read in the changelogs of Atmosphere that Boot0 is protected now. Does this mean, that I can update to 6.2.0 through system settings without disabling AutoRCM or should I choose ChoiDujourNX again?

Thank you for your answers!

For the SX OS cheat codes, do these have to be input each time you load up the game or will they remain in your save? For example, if I fire up the infinite health and save, can I then start over and add in the infinite money and both cheats will be active?

2nd Question ->
Also, does anyone have a look-up tool or how could we look-up what game the ID corresponds to
Example, 0100000000010000 It's SMO - but how do we look that up?

does hacked joy con and pro controller colors get sent to nintendo, i.e. is there telemetry for it
As far as we know, the Joy-Cons don't have their own telemetry.

Whoops. Meant to say you would have to use a different CFW but since you're running the game off of the HDD, I don't think LayeredFS supports that so you will need to load the game either from SD card or NAND.

Your gamecart slot is updated and you can update online when using Atmosphere to prevent fuses from being burnt as long as AutoRCM is enabled beforehand. Just be aware there is a risk in banning yourself when you connect the console online.

The only reason one would update to 6.2 is because they wish to play online which is never a good idea with a hacked console. Plus you can update the firmware offline after hacking the console so it makes less sense to update it before setting up ReiNX (note that you do not install any CFW). Last but not least, there is more support for CFW and homebrew on lower firmwares than higher ones. Only update if you plan to play online or if a game requires a higher firmware.

Format the SD card to FAT32. If the SD card is bigger than 32 GB, you will have to use a third-party program such as GUIFormat.

.

Thanks for the fast reply , my only concern about staying in a lower Fw is because new games will be realised in the near future and they will require a higher frimware as you said and i wont be able to play them only if theres a patched version of the nsp to work on a lower Fw ... i read about ChoiDujourNX but it enable AutoRCM wich can cause some problems for the console right ? ... i only want play nsp's and some emulators on the cfw nothing more and i dont plan to play online.

AutoRCM doesn't cause any issues for the console as long as you are aware that turning off the console normally will cause it to reboot into RCM. To turn off a console with AutoRCM installed, you must shut it down from RCM. Examples include Hekate's Power Off function or a manual shutdown in RCM (holding power for 12 seconds).

You can also choose not to enable AutoRCM when updating your firmware with ChoiDujourNX if you don't care about irreversibly burning your fuses and not being able to downgrade in case a future exploit comes out on lower firmwares such as untethered coldboot.

The first step towards any console hacking is to dump the NAND. Last thing anybody wants is a $300 paperweight. You can dump the NAND with either SX OS or Hekate, the latter of which is highly recommended as it can verify the NAND dump unlike SX OS.
