But what they didn't tell you is that you can add creport to ReiNX. Been using it for months and all of my error reports show up in the atmosphere folder, which is kinda weird, but means the differences between the 2 are negligible. Atmosphere lacks patches and ReiNX is missing plugins, both of which have to be supplemented externally.

The truth is that patching creport is no guarantee, it works for now but may easily be circumvented by a future Nintendo update that stealthily inserts a new way to phone home. At Reinx we believe in real safety rather than the illusion of it, which is why we recommend using 90DNS, which is the only sure fire way to prevent bans.

And the thing is that if someone wants to run creport using Reinx its as easy as putting it in the right folder on the SD card! The reason we are hesitant to include atmosphere sys modules is because people already accuse us of being a "clone" or "stealing" with the small parts we license already.

Sorry, I meant specifically by default - I'll edit my message to make that more clear.

1. Atmosphere doesn't patch creport, it replaces it with a fully custom reimplementation of creport
2. They can also circumvent 90DNS, by adding more places for telemetry to get sent to.
3. Also funny thing, ReiNX pretty much guarantees a ban because of the way it does its custom version string

It's not very hard to change the location that creport dumps crash reports into :P
