Hello, I'm currently having a problem with NS Atmosphere Programmer. I tried using Windows 10 in normal mode, in “Disable driver signature enforcement” mode, with the antivirus disabled, and even in Test Signing Mode, but the application always stops in the middle of the verifying process and gives me the message "SAM-BA operation failed". Is there a way to solve this. This didn't happen when I was using Hekate 4.2, and now I'm trying to inject 4.5 in order to be able to use firmware 6.2.0.

I had that error on my newly purchased Payload injector. What I did to fix it was closing the program, plugging the payload onto a different USB port, then opened the program again.

I’m not sure yoy can put hekate on the stick.. only cfw, like RajNX, ReiNX or Atmosphere.

Well, it did work with Hekate before, so why shouldn't it work now?
Edit: Now I tried with Hekate 4.2, and I'm getting the same error, even with a previous version of the programmer (0.2). Any ideas?

Have you tried using a different usb port and cable? and selected the correct COM device?
also have the device in "flashing mode" *Red light* ?
I tried a different port and a different cable, but I still get the SAM-BA error.

I already did that. Still getting verification errors.
Hmmmm
Do you have access to another pc to check if the dongle works there?
or try setting up a virtual machine and run the flasher through it

if it works on those then it's most likely driver issues and you could try updating the drivers for the com/dongle manually via device manager :)

Still nothing. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the driver, but I still get the verification error. Does anybody here have an idea of why this SAM-BA error happens in the middle of the verification process?
Edit: Just in case, it it okay if I use the dongle anyway, even if the verification process stops midway?

You could try disabling DEP for the NS-Atmosphere program, but it's a long shot and I doubt it will solve your issue :/

You want to head over to System settings on your pc
Control Panel\System and Security\System
and select Advanced system settings
A new window will open up, under the advanced tab go into the settings for "Perfomance"
Another window will pop up, Go to Data Execution prevention tab (DEP),
And select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those i select"
add the program to the list

I'm sure you can just search for "SystemPropertiesDataExecutionPrevention.exe" and launch it :>

OK, I tried deactivating DEP via command prompt and then rebooting the system. It still didn't work. OK I give up now. Tomorrow I'll just get a USB-C to USB-A cable. The dongle was a good piece of hardware, but I don't know what's going on now, if the problem is the dongle, or the PC I'm using. Is there a way to contact the NS Atmosphere website about this issue?

I'm also out of ideas man ^^
Best option first would be to test it on a different pc, if it doesn't work there then you should maybe contact their support :)
