Games, Saves, Bubbles, everything on my vita is gone. I tried rebuilding the database twice and force re-installed henkaku. My theme is still there and two bubbles (The cartridge i have in my vita and another cartridge game I own, but none of my other cartridges). After getting henkaku reinstalled I opened up molecular shell and nothing is left on the memory card. This all happened after I accidentally bumped the cartridge and caused it to eject during the "please wait" screen. Is there any way of getting things back? Could I use vitashell to put the vita into USB and use normal data recovery stuff or is everything truly gone?

Same thing happened to me after installing Adrenaline the first time. Nobody knew what happened and it didn't seem like there was a way to get my stuff back.

Rebuilding the database isn't the same as removing/replacing the memory card. It sounds like the memory card isn't being detected, that's what happens when the memory card is "unexpectedly removed" (which happens occasionally on my Vita).

Make sure the contacts on the memory card are clean, give them a quick wipe and try again.

Does Molecular/Vitashell show the correct memory card size in the info?

Go to vitashell press select and choose refresh livearea
Edit: You must press select where all the partitions are shown

I was trying to get a 3.68 game to work with my 3.65 slim vita. I already had sd2vita working, adrenaline setup, and I believe my official vita memory card was setup as another storage device. I booted into safe mode and rebuilt database. Now, nothing shows up. It looks like a stock vita, but I see the Enso logo on startup. My system settings show 3.68, though....

Sounds like your SD2VITA is not your main memory anymore and/or not being detected.
Do you see both ux0 and uma0 in VitaShell? If your SD2Vita is no longer ux0, but still has the content, refreshing your database will not bring your icons back. You need to make sure your SD2Vita is detected and set to the correct partition.

I'm having the exact same issue, did you manage to fix it?

I did fix it, but forgot how. I have an OLED vita that is hacked also. Think I put the official vita memory card in my slim and that did something....all I remember is everything came back and I haven’t tried installing anything else since.
