TMDs are different, there's a checksum or something in them but they aren't really used or something? I know TWLNF matches the APP with the TMD somehow, so v1 TMD won't work with v0 APP.
I've tested it myself, the tmd does indeed work with both versions of Sudoku. Maybe twlnf doesn't recognize it, but it will work if you manually edit your Nand. Try giving it a shot.

Just to back up the point, Gadorach wrote a hardmod guide a couple of years ago for the DSi. In the part about swapping Sudoku versions, he be ER changes the tmd, but people actually have managed to follow his guide successfully.

The TMD for v1 will work with a v0 APP if manually injected, but will not work using TWLNF to inject it. TWLNF uses some hash that's in the TMD to verify the APP file, but the Launcher doesn't use it (or something like that)

That's interesting. For the time being, try adding sudoku v1 with TWLnf and then just patching the .app to v0 in your nand using the ips files in https://dsiguide.me/exploit_installation.html

its fine tho, i already found it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

also, smart.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

basically you have to install v1 first then you can go and install v0 once the ticket was forged with twlnf

Hey there everyone, a little birdie dropped into my PMs asking for one (1) Sudoku v0 .tmd. Well, after careful consideration (none at all really, just a bit of time caus I'm a busy man) I've come to deliver the goods.

Attached below are both the title.tmd and the public.sav of Sudoku v0, and version 1.0 of Sudokuhax. To believe it's been so many years that I've held onto these files (I jumped in when the news broke, my brother didn't get a chance to download Sudoku caus it'd been pulled by the time he got around to it), and now I'm finally giving back to the community.

Just to clarify, these are for the European release, title ID 4b344456. I ripped these from my own NAND backup, so please keep them safe! Also, I'm not responsible for any damage you might cause to your system, I'm providing these as-is and all that.

EDIT: Not sure why it uploaded twice. whoops haha

Thanks!

In case anyone is wondering why we need these files, they're useful with TWLnf, since it needs the tmd that matches the exact version of sudoku you're installing.

While NUS is still running, I grabbed some more TMDs that weren't in the pack from OP.
Of course, there's a possibility that I've missed some (like certain regions and/or languages), but at least there's a copy for every rom of latest No-Intro's romset now.
89 new in total, a lot of them are for Chinese or Korean titles, but there's also some for JP/US/EU as well.

Someone has WarioWare snapped converted to tmd?? I used to have it but I lost my backup (I get it with the 1000 points that Nintendo put on the first NDSi units)

As many of you probably know, Nintendo has started to decomission the DSi Shop: it's no longer possible to buy DSiWare titles from the shop and at some point even the ability to re-download legitimately purchased contents will be removed.
Games reinstallation will still be possible for those fortunate enough to have NAND read/write access (either by using an exploit or by soldering on the DSi motherboard) by directly injecting the game in the system memory, but this operation will require three things:
1) the game's app file (AKA srl, AKA nds);
2) the game's tmd file;
3) a ticket linking the game with the specific console.
Tickets can be easily forged and app files can be obtained in a number of ways (e.g. dumping them from a 3DS); obtaining tmd files is more tricky: those files are currently distributed by Nintendo via their NUS servers (which will stop hosting them sooner or later), and some of them are no longer available even there.
A user of this forum (@metroid maniac) dumped a large number of TMD files (1489), and I started adding to his collection every TMD that I could get my hands on, raising the number of available TMDs to 1588. The eztended archived is attached to this post.

Unfortunately, there are 2 TMDs which are no longer available from NUS and that I was not able to find anywhere:
Code:
000300044b32444a DSIMOVIE Nintendo DSi + Internet - Nintendo
000300044b385545 NFN Nintendo Fan Network
The TMDs for Legends of Exidia and Fieldrunners (EUR editions) would be extremely useful as those two games are exploitable and can be used as entrypoints for homebrews. The archive now includes the TMDs for Legends of Exidia and Fieldrunners (thank you, @DinohScene).
The remaining missing titles corresponds to preinstalled apps and are currently not very useful, but I'd like to include them in the archive just to be safe. Edit: thanks to @8BitWalugi the archive now includes both the USA and EUR+AUS versions of "Nintendo DSi + Internet".
If someone were able to obtain the TMDs corresponding to one or more of the games listed above I'd appreciate if they could send them to me... TMDs can also be extracted from a DSi if the game is currently installed, I can offer assistance on how to do that to anyone interested.

Edit: apparently the following titles have never been released on the DSi shop and their TMDs probably don't exist.
Code:
000300044b394b4a NINTENDOJI Nintendo
000300045a32414a SAWARUWARIOI さわるメイドインワリオ DL - Nintendo
000300045a324150 SAWARUWARIOI WarioWare: Touched! DL - Nintendo
000300045a324154 SAWARUWARIOI WarioWare: Touched! DL - Nintendo
000300045a32454a DSWARS2J ファミコンウォーズDS - ~うしなわれたひかり~ DL - Nintendo
Hello, i need to know how to extract the tmds from my own dsiware bin. I need assistance. Help pls

I found 5 DSiWare with two different TMD files
Code:
000300044b393545.0 520 bytes
000300044b393545.257 2.25 KiB

000300044b424a50.0 520 bytes
000300044b424a50.257 2.25 KiB

000300044b444e4a.0 520 bytes
000300044b444e4a.257 2.25 KiB

000300044b4c394a.0 520 bytes
000300044b4c394a.257 2.25 KiB

000300044b554945.0 520 bytes
000300044b554945.768 2.25 KiB

All except one appear to have one file ending with 0 and one with 257 (is it the version?), and all the sizes are equal. Does anyone know what's the difference?
