Hi guys I need your help.

I was completely fine with my switch and it was on 6.1.0.
I updated it accidentally and i couldn't continue using homebrews as you know.
That's why i downgraded it to 6.1.0 again and i knew that i wouldn't be able to use sleep mode because of the burnt fuses.

I used it for 2-3 days like that but i realized that it wasn't getting charged fast.
I thought that it would be about AutoRCM and i disabled it and now i can't boot the device at all

When i push the power button nothing appears on the screen and when i connect it to the PC for checking the device if it's on RCM, it's not on RCM as well.
I tried using paperclip for several times for reaching to RCM mode but it didn't help.

I'm not sure if it's bricked or not.I hope someone can help me to solve this problem. Otherwise i will completely lose my hope.

Thanks.

The console is soft-bricked; its not designed to boot a firmware lower than the burnt fuses hence why its not responding. The sole purpose of AutoRCM was to ensure you would be able to bypass the fuse check after you sent a payload/bootloader. Now in this state, it should still be able to enter RCM manually but if you have a paperclip, you have your work cut out for you. It took me upwards of an hour once to enter RCM with a paperclip and it still may take you longer.

Once you are successfully able to enter RCM again, you better make sure you install AutoRCM again unless you want to go through all of this trouble again.

Yeah it took me a bit too, be careful not to destroy your pins, you shouldn't be using any force it just kinda sits in there.

Thanks for your replies but i'm still trying to solve the problem.

When there was no problem, I was able to get RCM easily by using paperclip but now i can't reach RCM at all.It makes me feel like it doesn't get any power when i push the power button.I'm sure that the battery didn't run out btw.

After i disabled AutoRCM, i selected stock firmware for testing my charging issue. It booted the stock firmware without any problems.May selecting the stock firmware cause any additional problems ?

Even if it looks like the problem is about AutoRCM's deactivation, i feel like there is another problem which is serious :/

6.2 burns 8 fuses.

You can have only a max of 7 fuses burned to run 6.1.
Any more than that and the console won't boot.

Bootloaders like Hekate skips the fuse check.
Which is why you were able to boot "Stock".
If you don't use a bootloader like Hekate, you won't be able to boot 6.1.

What to do:

- Hold the power button for 20+ seconds to make sure your Switch is off
(and not simply frozen due to the fuse check).
- Then try to boot into RCM again.
- And inject Hekate.
- If it doesn't work, the RCM attempt failed.
- Start over from the top, holding the power button for 20+ seconds again
(because your Switch is probably frozen from the fuse check)

This is the only thing you can do right now.
There should've been no permanent damage done to your Switch
(except to your pins, by the paperclip, if you weren't careful).
The worst part is not being able to tell if you have a charge left or not.
And not being able to tell apart:
- RCM,
- being frozen from the fuse check,
- and just being off.

When there was no problem, I was able to get RCM easily by using paperclip
Maybe you actually had AutoRCM on the whole time. :P
I remember before I had a jig, I had TONS of trouble getting into RCM when I was trying using random tools.

Were you trying to charge it while turned off?
Yeah, AutoRCM makes the "charging while off" really slow.

But if you want to run 6.1 on a Switch with 8 burned fuses, AutoRCM is HIGHLY recommended/unavoidable (because you can't really use the Switch anymore without going into RCM).

I'd recommend turning off Auto-Sleep in the settings, then charging it while it's turned on. Then you can have the benefits of "fast charge"/PD charging.

@bundat Thanks for your help man.I want to believe what you're saying.Maybe i was able to get AutoRCM because of the option and it wasn't about paperclip as you said.It looks like it will be harder to get RCM but if i can do it once, the problem will be solved.

I am going to try to fix it with your suggestions. Thanks for your help again. :)

EDIT : I did it ! I hope I don't face any problems like that in the future :)

I still have another problem :(
I'm using Nintendo's original dock for charging my device but it's just charging 1% in 5 minutes.
It wasn't like that before i started using CFW or before downgrading my device.

I also tried to charge it by using IPad charger and it was the same for it too.
It's like it has a limitation for the amperage. It's not going far than 250 mA.

I couldn't find anything to do for solving it.
