the SXOS folder contain the mods and nsp and xci files.
tinfoil is optional, but i still prefer tinfoil over sx installer because of the FW ignore thing.

SXOS is much user friendly and even the boot menu has touch screen.

Honestly none of this seems any easier

you can't really judge by the looks, only if you tried both you will know the difference.

i wouldn't mind to use a closed version of reinx or other CFW if it only 1 file and boot directly to the switch menu like sx or reinx.

Have used SXOS from day one with a ns white dongle thing and no reason to use anything else now, it supports more things than I use it for and is easy

Pre-ordered SXPro to get CFW asap.

Bought the other cheap aliexpress dongle later - waiting for a better CFW before I use it.

This thread is basically the SFW version or BiggerThanYouThought

Most use cfw to pirate especially sxos. So everyone busy playing games instead of posting here.

This poll doesn't have enough options...
I use whatever I prefer at the time, depending on what has the features I am interested in.
I was using SX-OS for a long while, and now I'm using Atmosphere, however that's not to say I may not go back to SX-OS again if the EmuNAND feature goes stable.
The better question would probably be who is an SX-OS customer, not who is using it right now..

edit: for lack of a better option, I'm simply going to vote as an SX-OS user, despite currently being on Atmosphere

I don't think you are going to get accurate tallies on your vote because most people that use atmosphere see that something says sxos and ignore it.

That poll doesn't apply to me. I own it (SX OS) but don't use it.
Using Køsmos right now (formerly SDFiles, containing hekate + Atmosphère + Sigpatches) which is perfect for my needs.

I use SX OS. But i think when it comes to real people, it is like 95% using SX OS. You have to see most of users are total noobs and have no ide CFW even exists, and wouldn't even bother trying. Plus they have support from 100% of the shops, which are the place where moms and dads go to, to get the info on how to hack the switch. One thing I noticed, on the shop where I bought SX OS, the order number are incremental. You have order 10,000, you order again, you have order 10,001. I bought SX OS, and a month later SX Pro (i wanted SX OS on release date, then came back for the dongle), and the order number was 100,000 above my initial order. And this is just one shop!
So I think the numbers are very very high.
The poll in here now says over 70% uses SX OS, and this is the place where you will have by far the highest number of users wit CFW.

Not surprised the poll is so much in favor of SXOS. Even though I started by using the free alternatives, with all the stuff SX added to their CFW I eventually bought one for the integrated memory editor and XCI loader. Then HDD support sealed the deal, SXOS is far ahead of the competition. I realize Atmosphere is essentially laying the groundwork and SX steals/reuse a lot of the code, but it's nothing but a foundation at the moment, whereas SXOS is a feature rich CFW.
