Hacking Xbox 360 JTAG Hdd upgrade - Error creating Axiliary and Extended Partitions

Hi.
I'm fairly new to the xbox360 scene, but in the last weeks i'm playing with a newly jatagged 360 slim.
I'm trying to upgrade the internal hdd with one of 1tb from my fully configured with fsd3 and dashlaunch 250gb old hdd.
So i format it into the 360 put the console number and all ok.
Then i use the guide here on this site to create partition2 and all is fine.
Strange thing is that on this new 1tb disk, i only find partition 1 and 2 (xbox 1 and data partition), this using xplorer360, buffalo explorer and fatxplorer.
I cannot find the two other partitions that there were in my old hdd
SYSTEM AUXILIARY PARTITION
SYSTEM EXTENDED PARTITION
So i cannot restore the content of my old hdd, and dashlaunch and fsd cannot start (and i don't have my old avatar)..

Those partitions should be created by 360 itself when i format the hdd?

but when i put the $SystemUpdate folder (i'm on 170511) in my external hdd it simply does nothing (also if i use $$ystemupdate).
Something i can do?

Unfortunately, Slims don't have JTAG, you likely mean RGH'd 360.

Anyway, take a look at this thread.
It's pretty much all you need to know.

You need to source the latest release of Dashlaunch tho, for some reason I cannot upload the xexmenu disc anymore to filetrip etc.

Edit: as for updating it.
Dump the NAND of your console and run it through JRunner.
It'll build a new NAND for you that you can flash back.
After that, extract the update you downloaded from the MS site and rename the folder to $$ystemupdate.
Put it on a FAT32 USB drive and let the box update.

Yes i mean RGH, sorry.
What i cannot understand is why when i format the new hdd it doesn't create the system partitions..
I already faced this problem when i swap out my 250gb disk for a 500gb....
First time i format the 500gb disk i only see two partitions into the newly created disk, but second time i reformat it i see all 4 partitions...
And from the i was able to copy-paste all my backups, and i had back a fully working and configured 500gb hdd....
But i don't know which way the partitions where created...

Thanks i tried your great guide and i manage to have the freestyle dash, but i always cannot see the Auxyliary and Extended partitions....so i cannot restore all my data from there.
I really cannot understand why it doesn't let me see those partitions....
I only have Backward Partitions and Content Partition.
Any idea?

You haven't installed the hacked xbox emulator nor did you "update" your box then.

Yes you are right.
Infact i have to download systemupdate folder and update via original dashboard.
what i cannot understand is why i cannot connect to internet.
it seems like when the guy modded this 360, block something, but i cannot find where.
I have the 360 connected via lan an it have ip address..i can ftp into it, but i always got error when i try to test the internet connection in original dashboard.
and in the freestyle dashboard, on the update tab,i got could not download description file...
do you know where i can check why i don't have internet connection?

You don't need to connect to Live at all.
Doing so will warrant a console ban.

You can download the latest Systemupdate via xbox.com.
Extract it and put it on a FAT32 USB drive.

As for FSD, try loading the supplied launch.ini of the XeXmenu installer disc in Dashlaunch on your console.
It could very well be some settings.
