ROM Hack Use Circle Control Pad/N3DS nub for DS FPS games?

The Call of Duty and James Bond games would be fun on the New 3DS or with the Circle Pad Pro to replace using face buttons or stylus aiming.
Does anyone know how to make the Circle Pad Pro emulate the face buttons or stylus aiming (probably after mapping the stylus to the face buttons)?
Is that possible (outside an emulator)?
I'd love to be able to play these games with the kids with analog aiming.

Likely not possible without doing some crazy ass patching of the twl firmware. (In other words, don't get your hopes up, or expect anything that would allow that)
