If you're referring to the Ipatched unites they have been saying they are working on a workaround since 2, maybe three versions ago, yet have presented no evidence of such a fix even being in the works. I wouldn't hold my breath
90dns still isn't a perfect solution that's my point. The way people recommend it are making it sound like something it's not.AutoRCM

I'm referring to the statement they made in the recent BETA release notes talking about those "New 'unhackable' consoles" being high on the agenda and stating they will deliver.
Is this just them talking shit to sell the Pro and OS? Or are they delivering on what they say? You tell me.
why are you even online?
You set 90dns for your entire network? Do you know what a dns server does and why you shouldnt do that?So much so I couldn't access any nintendo websites for support or CDN stuff while on was on my pc
You may be in the wrong sub forum then ;p
They have been saying the same thing for at least 3 updates. they keep saying" oh the Ipatched unites, we are working on a workaround, more news at 11". Except 11 never comes around and all we hear is "we are working on it" nothing more

I see this as part of the core of the scene, the cat and mouse. I'm not mad it's taking at least 3 updates (and counting) for progress from ANYONE. Solutions are not guaranteed to be easy and quick right out the box nor ever. Who else is working on the new models? Anyone worth keeping tabs on in the race?
I know, and I did think about hacking it at one point, but, given the numerous methods, lack of consolidated guides and techniques, not to mention the risks involved.... *sigh* to me, it's just not worth the hassle.
To me, it all boils down to whether online is worth it or not. If you can live without the online aspect then it's worth it. You can be completely cheap and do it for fairly free or spend 26 bux and buy into "convenience".
It's not worth the worry or hassle to keep up with cloaking what you're doing to prevent bans, bans that may come regardless of anything you do, emuNAND or not, risk is constant.

The real crux of their bullshit on the ipatched units is from there original 'presentation' on them when they (a.) claimed initially their SX worked on ipatched units because they didn't understand what was patched or wasn't and used an unpatched unit to make a stupid, uninformed and rushed declaration of how SX still worked... on an unpatched unit, and (b.) claimed that dumping ipatch data was proof of their new solution and requiring coldboot to access. To the latter, ipatches do not require coldboot access at all, in fact they are not even 'protected' info, and, to the former, if they had a coldboot solution to access said ipatch data then any and all proof of concept would have been trivial to generate...
... after all they were quick to generate an incorrect PoC on (a.)...
So this is kind of the issue, and why the longer it takes and the more they just say "trust us" the more it just rings hollow. If you have something that works, you have a PoC, so why is it so hard to generate one? They farted out their original PoC on Switch OG models MONTHS before release. They're not shy to blow their load when they have it.
Interesting.
You think they are bluffing because they fail to provide any proof of concept and just words...knowing that they goofed in the past.
Hopefully others are working on it too?
I have burned fuses and can use sleep mode fineif you burned fuses, you can but you won't be able to go to sleep mode or booting up on OFW
Gee give the team time to check out the update. I am sure they will release an update soonWeren't we told way back that the hardware exploit could "never ever" be patched out? Yet here we are?
