I have an ASUS X555LB, and it had this problem for as long as I can remember.
When the battery drops below ~50%, the screen starts flashing on/off roughly every time it refreshes (this could be just one flash every three seconds or so when reading text, or constant flashing at 60Hz when watching a video). Is there a way to solve this? I would like to use this thing on battery sometimes, but the battery life already isn't very good and this problem just halves it by making the device near unusable if the battery is too low.
