If the console is patched, it cannot use homebrew or accept RCM payloads hence why they are referred to as "patched". The only other feasible way is by having both consoles use the same Nintendo Account and transfer saves via the cloud service but that involves updating your 3.0 Switch to the latest firmware.
This is now my opinion, but spoonfeeding people's solutions is not going to do you nor the other person any good. Instead you get a person who will latch onto you or others for answers to questions rather than learning the answers themselves. Instead of finding the root cause to a problem, you merely treat the symptoms which is not how you find a solution. Because if you only treat the symptoms, those treatments themselves will cause problems down the road. For example, you just linked the user to a tutorial that only patches exFAT on via a firmware-specific kip. So if that user were to ever change firmware, his console will be bricked. I would know from troubleshooting the various users who were using Darth Meteos' Stash when it had this kip packaged in. Apart from the fact that the file itself cannot be shared, it brought more trouble than relief hence the removal of it (as well as the stash itself).
