I think that it's simply written wrongly by accident! The guy is probably referring to audio sync and dithering! Those two settings exist! Otherwise I have no idea.

thanks, one more thing, do you know if eboots work better than bins?
I believe that eboots are compressed and that they combine multi disc games into one file, which makes it a tiny bit easier to change discs mid-game. So using eboots is a way to save space, while sacrificing a bit of load time, I think. Not sure if they can be considered objectively better than bins tho. I only use eboots for some reason...

Ummm, I'm not sure why it's THAT low. Maybe you're trying to play games that require higher performance or have the completely wrong settings? I do believe that the cia has better performance than the 3dsx though, not sure about how much. Try switching to that if possible. Otherwise I have no idea.

I didn't know about some of these settings when I did my initial tests. I retested using a 1.7.3 cia stable with audio sync off and frameskip1. Games that top at 55fps like Megaman x4 and even Little Ralph that runs at fullspeed, I still get crackling audio. I don't think it's worth getting a n3ds for it unless you like running ps1 games without audio. Metalgear Solid runs at like 52fps in the water, fullspeed otherwise, but it looks like 20fps, a bit of input lag, codec talk is too fast, music plays too fast, and again, scratchy audio. I wouldn't bother with ps1 emulation on n3ds from retroarch.

Well that's a bit disappointing... It's not a deal breaker that it doesn't run perfect (I might try it still anyways). I'll probably still get one so I can have SNES support and do local multiplayer with my wife. Thanks for checking Savior.

have no clue if anyone is still updating the list, but klonoa: door to phantomile works. just needs a bios. sounds like crap and runs around 34 frames.
frame skip needs to be around 2-3

Hi, new to pcsx emulating, is there a certain way I have to boot eboot files? Because simply loading it from content seems to just kick my out of the pcsx emulator.

Don't rember there being any special procedures for launching eboots. Does .bin files work for example?
So far, I've only tested SotN and it works 4/5 times with crashes seeming to pop up at random with .bin. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to get eboot.pbp to work, even though (as far as I've heard) they're suppose to run better?

Just did a test of emulating over systems and for some reason I even got booted to the 3ds home menu from trying to load Superstar Saga on the gpSP core. So I'm starting to think there might be something wrong with my system (n2DSXL).

Hmmm. I'm no expert, but it's possible that you're using an unstable version of the emulator. You have rgui as menu driver, right?
