Unless deja vu manages to stay unpatched for the new revisions you'll need a new exploit to even get homebrew
"OoOoOoo Well look how clever I am, While I reply with a hyperbolic deconstuction of the current Discussion without adding anything of substance, watch me instead sarcastically imply that this is beyond the hardware we're talking about, Boy, I sure do look like a fucking tool"Anyone able to predict when I can play PS4 on my washing machine?? And don't GUESS I want a prediction like Miss Cleo please...
LOL. Some people are just idiots."OoOoOoo Well look how clever I am, While I reply with a hyperbolic deconstuction of the current Discussion without adding anything of substance, watch me instead sarcastically imply that this is beyond the hardware we're talking about, Boy, I sure do look like a fucking tool"
This is for N64.
Dolphin already has a 64bit ARM DynaRec.
lol, american education...dude does not know what words technically or possible mean. but you are wrong. periodTechnically, it’s not possible for Wii emulator (specifically Dolphin Emulator) for Switch. Just forget it.

How long into the switches life cycle do you guys think the hackers will out-do nintendo with Emulation like what they have been doing since the wii days? Or if ever we manage to get a dynamic re-compiler up and running for n64 emulation on switch?

Fingers crossed that Nintendo doesn't sleep on a WW port for Switch. That's all I really want tbh.Wind Waker
I KNOW WHAT LAKKA IS. I was asking when it would run "Optimally", becuase the framerates now are unplayable. I just didn't happen to come accross the video, and i for some reason i assumed it was dolphin, Dumb fucking mistake yeah, but I'm human.YOU started this thread, and YOU admitted you never heard of Lakka, despite this piece of magic being around for years. Learn to use Google first, educate yourself, ask a decent question if you are still too stupid to figure out what is going on, and THEN have an attitude. In this order, thanks.
Gpd win 2 can emulate that perfectly,Fingers crossed that Nintendo doesn't sleep on a WW port for Switch. That's all I really want tbh.
not happening. consumer switches will not have more ram nor will they have a more powerful cpu. More ram is only on developer consoles and the cpu revision is solely for the purpose of fixing current known exploits, nice try though.Guys don't expect ps2/gcn emulation until the new switch model releases with extra ram a powerful cpu and "more stabillity"
People don't realize that android as an operating system uses a lot of resources, so much resources that a mildly overclocked switch in theory should out perform the shield tv. People also forget that the official emulator running on the shield tv was developed by a dolphin developer that nvidia hiredI'd personally bet on getting VC injects first. As for the shield running faster, sure, but isn't it running on Android? Switch should be more efficient. Not to mention, we have overclocks incoming, and I'm willing to be Nintendo would OC officially if they needed to for Wii VC.
What does that have to do with anything?Gpd win 2 can emulate that perfectly,

May I interest you in something called the gpd win 2?
The shield's X1 is clocked way higher than the switch's X1. Overclocking is being tested but hasn't been released to the public yet.
Also why nintendos own games are usually the most graphically/technically impressive.
Its portable,What does that have to do with anything?
Yeah, I regret posting this here in hindsight "^.^Hahaha.. Wrong forum. Ask the 100 percent accurately question at Dolphin forum for they are one who developed Dolphin emulator.
Well yeah that was my point. But they theorize that since Switch OS is so minimal, there would be less overhead. TLDR, we can't rule it out yet.
Oh IDK, maybe they're the ones that know the hardware the most?
Gamecu emulation on Switch is a funny meme.
