Hello all,
I'm about to install sx os again (yes, I removed it 2 months ago after using it for a while and I didn't get banned).
I saw that a recent update included a sort of emunand that should make your console safer against bans.
I'd like to know what's the best use I can make of this new feature and, more important, if this really could let me play online games (that I obviously own) on sysnand, and the other ones (obviously offline) on the emunand.
I know it could lead me to be banned anyways, there's still nothing 100% safe. That's why I'd like to know how to update my games when I'll get banned (if I will), because I discovered that CDNSP is not working anymore; and maybe this method could be used to update emunand games too.

Not really safer. Just allows you to (for now) go online on OFW without ninty knowing (seriously ninty, how hard is to implement .bin file search?)
It allows you to play online games on OFW with own games.
To update them, just get the update nsp and install it.

Ban anybody with a .bin file on their sd card sounds a bit extreme?

So, if one day this implementation by Ninty is coming, I could simply remove the emunand ?
By the way, thanks for the help, I think I'm going to use it to play online with games I own.

Their """EmuNAND""" is not on SD. That's why the check should have been already implemented.

I have another doubt now. I've just finished installing emunand, and i read that, when I insert the dongle on rcm, if emunand is found, it's loaded by default. So, when I want to play games that I don't own, I simply have to turn my Switch on with the sx os dongle. But what should I do when I want to play games that I own online? Do I have to load OFW or do I have to load sx os on sysnand? The process I must follow is pressing + button when injecting payload to access sx os boot menu. Here I can disable emunand loading, but after that I can choose to boot CFW or OFW. Which should I choose?

Guess. Going online with CFW = ban.
If you want to play owned titles online, boot to OFW (boot without going to RCM).

Cool, this "equation" was not so obvious for me, so thank you again!

Unless you have safe mode = 90DNS, but that does not allow you to use Ninty services, so I count that as not being "online".
Yes, that sounds more obvious :D
And why can I see all the games I have in sysnand also in emunand? If I delete them while I'm in emunand are they canceled from sysnand too?

Because you created the EmuNAND while having all your games installed, so the entries/games were copied as well (probably).
And if you delete them from EmuNAND or SysNAND, the other one won't be affected.

Also if the game is installed on the micro sd?
Example: I'm now installing PLGP on emunand, choosing sd as target. It shouln't apprar on sysnand home menu, right?

It shouldn't appear. But if you uninstall a game from SD while being in e.g. SysNAND, it should be deleted from your EmuNAND as well, because it is no longer on SD.

I confirm it doesn't appear. Another cool thing is that you can delete every internet setting on emunand (to stay safer) by keeping them on sysnand (to play online). Now I'm trying to delete all the original games from emunand. I think I can close this thread. Thank you a lot, you helped me so much! ;)
