I have got this up and running. There is a great 5 min video on Youtube explaining exactly how this is done. Could somebody kindly help answer questions I have? (full time job + being a dad really hold me back these days from being fully involved with the "scene");

- I have my SD Card (running ReiNX) formatted to exFAT. I am hearing FAT32 is more "stable". So, if I simply copy over the entire contents of my SD card as it is to an external HDD > format my SD card to FAT32 > copy entire contents back to the SD card, will this work?

- Once on FAT32, can I USB install (using above method) NSP files >4GB without having to further split the NSP on into smaller parts?

Would REALLY appreciate the help guys.

Does this USB install let aside FAT32 or ExFAT restrictions?

I'm stuck on FAT32 and was looking a better way to install larger games on Switch...

yes, usb install means you don't need to split nsps first.

stick to fat32, it doesnt corrupt as easily

KR,

yes. copying back and forth worked for me.
you will not need to split nsps if you install through usb like this.

I have a strange issue, when I boot to cfw and run tenfoil at album and select title management I don't see ( USB Install NSP) option, I tried different tenfoil versions with no change.I tried last tenfoil version.
is there something I missed it?

I use Reinx & 4.1.0 firmware

This one, just like the official method, dosn't work for me. Upgraded python, installed libraries, got the drivers, got latest tinfoil, and it doesn't work. It shows an error for a split second, and if it's the same, then it's

If I understand, this allows you to store NSP files on your USB drive or stick, and then install to NAND or SD Card; not install and run games via USB storage

I want this to work but the directions are hard to follow due to language barriers.
I can't seem to connect to the switch even with installing libsk via zadig and running the bat in the exact path specified.
I feel like I'm just missing something.

theres a typo in the dir "TinfoilUBSINSTALL"
as you can see....its "ubs" not "usb"
also, use the tinfoil included in the archive. mine wouldn't work until i switched to the tinfoil in the zip..
cheers!
