Hello, I've been using my Snes Mini since release on my Samsung Tv with no problem at all.
Now I wanted to play after a while again and I was like, wtf why don't I have any sound.
I tried to pinpoint the error.
First off, my Tv is kinda old and very limited I can't switch any audio modes it's not a Smart TV, I can only equalize the sound.

Things that could be at fault:
1.My TV
2.Snes Mini
3.Ac adapter
4.Power Cable
5.HDMI Cable
6.HDMI Port.

1.My Tv, as I said before I've been using this shit since 1 year, and It was always working, after fiddling around for 1h I also got the sound back, then went to another channel, then to HDMI and Sound away again.
I can't tell you how or why nothing was different I swear. Also, Switch, Wii U all work fine.

2. Snes Mini, let's make it short tried on my Pc monitor, working like a charm with sound, aswell on 2 other TV's.
3. Ac Adapter, I tried 5V 2Amp, no sound, 5V 1amp no sound, Usb from the Tv, Anker Power adapter, Sony charger, same result. So probably not at fault.
4. Power Cable, my brother also has one which obviously works, and I tried his Cable, -> No Sound, tried my charging cable-> No Sound, tried a random one -> No Sound. So probably not at fault, (These cables all worked with the other TV's)
5. The good ol' Hdmi Cable, just FYI I tried 3 of them, neither gave me the sound back, and they worked fine on another TV.
6. Hdmi Port, Other devices work no problem.

SO, I tried the whole new setup with the Snes Mini from my brother, the exact same setup that worked for him, and It didn't work aswell.

So you must be thinking: "It's the Tv, well hell yeah but I don't understand this, as I stated It worked before...

Maybe someone can help me, Im aboutta having a burnout...I can't accept the fact that there is no rational reason for it to not work...

This happened to a friend: we were playing Mario Kart and every 10 seconds P2 would lose all sound, but P1 kept every sound....I think there's something else going on; we never fixed the issue.

Maybe dust in the SNES?

Have you googled if this is a common SNES issue? Maybe just dust in your TV speakers, a loose connection, etc,?
Tv Speakers work 100%, Tried 2 different consoles and cables and hdmi ports, even using a HDMI Switch.
Well yeah I've seen some people having problem with the sound on classic consoles, but no solution really mattered for my case.
Thanks for the response

You're welcome.
Curious, have you hacked your SNESM?
Yes I do, thought about that too, I mean I did a backup of the clean nand...but it worked before with the hack like no problem...tho I might should try restoring it to default...at this time I should take a look at every possibillity.

No I don't think so, my SNES works on others Tvs.

Then it's obviously an issue with your TV setup, no reason to look elsewhere or blame the console or cables. For some reason, audio output got disabled for this HDMI port/device id combination.

I would try using a different HDMI port and if that does not work, try a factory reset as explained below to reset internal configuration (first google result I got with "samsung tv no sound from hdmi" but you might want to try with your exact samsung model name)

Had to leave my TV without power for approximately 2h for any juice left to go out.
Don't care if that's technically right, but I can tell you guys that it is now working again.
