why couldn't you jailbreak the first one? How did you try doing it? Some switches won't jailbreak because of the sd card reader. Try swapping the sd card reader from the hackable bricked switch to the non bricked switch. There's a good chance it will work.

Any way you spin it, it's user error. Being intentionally malicious is terrible and all, but if you're not going to take precautions and actually wait for a verified safe source, you're 100% to blame for your incompetence.
Some people did take precautions but did not realize they needed a nand backup of their current fw - because the guides aren't completely noob proof.

Well at first i never intend to Jailbreak my device because I was afraid i would get my switch banned but after i found out that sx pro is safe for me, then i brought my first switch for jailbreak but did not work out because it is one of the patched unit and it won't be able to Jailbreak. Even now i think TX not yet be able to Jailbreak the famous unhackable switch drop everywhere nowadays. And i just realised that i can back up NAND and restore after i got my device brick. Many people got their device brick because of pokemon nps file.

Simple word of advice. Get it from a trusted source and you will be fine. Most of these people got it from a discord link or a quickly removed thread on another forum.
