Hi, I’ve not used my switch from weeks till today.
When I put it on charge it doesn’t turn on.
I know that switch has some kind of slow charge for first percentage of battery.

I’ve waited 3 hours and switch doesn’t send any signals.
Noticed that if I try to charge with dock, dock’s light turn on and off in a second. Like it’s not charging it.

Already tried to press and hold for ten seconds but no results.

do ya have autorcm?
If you had ARCM your battery might have died

Nope, I've not autoRCM. I solder a reed switch for turn RCM with a magnet.

Try plugging the charger in the switch itself incase your dock isn't working

Already done it. Right now Switch has been plugged in all night long with my macbook PRO charger.

hold Power for 15 seconds while it's charging then let it charges for 30 mins then try to turn it on

Already tried a lot of combination like this. No results at all but I'm going to try again.

Use Nintendos adapter. A normal USB-C doesn't really work. I use my OnePlus charger with the Switch it won't charge properly. Nintendo have done some voodoo shit with their production, so use the official charger.

All right. I'm going to try that.

What's really scares me is that green light which turn on and turn instantly off in a second. Has dock doesn't give battery, that's not good because dock has always worked.

UPDATE: I've disassembled Switch to plug out and plug in battery. So far any results at all.
Switch have been plugged to AC all night long.

When you unplugged the battery, did you press power for around 30secs to fully discarge before reconecting?
This helped me in similar situations.
Also try whith the joycons connected and disconnected.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

    How are you doing?

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.

    That sounds really cool
