Hello everyone,

As some of you may know, the latest Pokemon game on Nintendo Switch will enable us to send our Pokemon from Pokemon GO to the switch version.
So, will this action be possible without being ban if our console is hacked ? Or will the hackers find a solution for this ?

Thanks

The game has been leaked dude. You can literally just boot it up and see if it works. I think people do "know" as you pointed out above "nobody knows"...
I thought the guy couldn’t figure out how to dump the game, and then everyone on the post I saw was also telling him not too or something

Should be possible only Online-Fights are restricted by Network Service.

Local Coop + Link Pokemon Go worked for me, however there is no Option in the App yet on Android so :)

The game has leaked but there WAS no normal way to use the pokemon go app to trigger the transfer, which is exactly what @andyhappypants was saying...
Both pokemon go and let's go needs to be checked...

What about trading? Can you do it with a banned switch and do you need a nintendo online sub for it? (I am talking about trading between 2 games, not with the game and pokemon go).

The only things you can't/shouldn't do are connect the game to the Internet especially if the console is hacked and/or you don't own the game. Everything else is a part of the game and Switch.

Also Pokemon Go requires Bluetooth connection to the game so you can connect even in Airplane Mode if you enable Bluetooth mode in the settings.

Can you trade locally with another switch or do you have to connect to the Internet for that? I have a friend who is buying pokemon lets go eevee with pokeball plus and it would be easy to clone mew if I can trade locally without an online subscription. Otherwise, I will just wait for a save editor to get mew in my game.

You just said not to connect the game to the Internet, you don't say if you can actually trade locally without connecting to Internet. Wouldn't 2 switches also be able to communicate with each other if you're right next to each others without actually going through network?

I don't see why 2 consoles a foot away from each other need to connect to the Internet in order to communicate.

You'd be surprised at how far Nintendo would go to make people pay for the online service. The reason I was asking is I can't find the answer anywhere. Every places I see say it requires online subscription to trade and battle, but it doesn't mention if it's different if you do it locally.

I have deleted Wi-Fi settings on my Switch and was able to trade Pokemon with my brother who also has a hacked console.
