Yeah the item ID is right next to the value, as per @dsrules (https://gbatemp.net/threads/cheat-codes-sx-os-add-and-request.520293/page-83#post-8378061)
So i found the value of the amount of regular pokeballs, and moved over and see the value "04" for the itemID.
Change it to 05 = Safari Balls.... lets see what Masterballs are.
Changing the value 01 = Masterballs
the value highlighted is 1st slot of Catch Bag, which ive set to 0x01 (Masterball) and value is currently 60 dec. (60/2->hex = 0x1E).
EDIT: Item qty values are stored so strangely in this game. No wonder i was having difficulty finding them before.

Load game. Start your save. Go to sxos cheat menu. Open ram editor. Jump to address using + then edit your data.
Worked for me too, but the address was off by 0x04 in my case for the beginning of the Candy Bag items.

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
