Extract the NSP (and then the proceeding NCA) with hactool and just do some look overs to see if it's ok
The Eevee nsp is 4gb.
Im just concerned that now the pikachu nsp is out there it will always remain a threat, its quite easy to get caught out!
Most of the scene news comes from here. Only the piracy related ones come from piracy discord servers that I can't link here. Both Let's go Eevee and Pikachu are 4GB each so both combined is 8GB. And I'd just get a 128GB SD Card as they're much better value.
UPDATE: Legitimate Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! NSPs are dropping. Lower your guards but make sure to have a NAND backup and verify if the NSP is legit just incase fake NSPs are still being spread.

Just don't pirate games before they're out in stores. It's pretty simple.
It will probably disappear from forums and torrent sites fairly quickly, that's what tends to happen with fake releases. All of those 3DS rom blogs seem kinda sketchy though, they might not bother to take down the links. It's definitely always a good idea to check the hash of your download and make sure it doesn't match the one of the bricker. And in the future it might be a good idea to somehow test downloaded xcis/nsps to make sure they're legit, maybe by decrypting the contents to make sure the game data is there, since chances are low that someone would dump the game only to replace the main executable with a bricker, it could happen but it's much more likely that someone will just pack a bricker into .nsp/.xci and pad it to the right size, that's the easiest way to do it.

Well, the bricking Pikachu one just had dummy data inside of it to inflate it to 4gb. The real one, by comparison, has folders upon folders of files and miscellaneous data.
