ROM Hack NTR Crashing on 11.8

Hello people of GBAtemp. I have a very annoying problem that happened ever since updating my Old 2DS to 11.8. I booted up NTR CFW and it told me “Unknown firmware”. I then read somewhere that you have to update NTR Boot Selector to work for 11.8. I take the cia file off of the github page. I installed it, and whenever I boot into NTR boot selector, it says “Loading 3.6 in 3... 2... 1..., then pauses for a few seconds, then crashes to the home screen with the “An Error has occurred forcing the software to close...” error. Can somebody help me with this, please! I really want my warioware gold hacks now!!!

Apparently there is a fault somewhere but why not try installing NTR from the guide again (What can hurt? It dont work right now anyway) and to my acknowledgement i havnt heard of anything about updating NTRboot Selector. What i do know is you just get it from downloading from FBI TitleDb. Thats what i done and it works with no hiccups.

I tried reinstalling many times, but still it does not work.

All i have to get to work is a 3ds with CFW then install the 2 .cia files then go to fbi then scroll down to titledb and install NTRbootselector then start NTRboot.. profit. Im sorry i cant be anymore of help.

I think BootNTR broke on 11.8, or you're just the only one encountering this issue, assuming you're wanting to cheat with BootNTR you can just use the new luma cheat system in luma 9.1 alongside sharkive to download cheats to use with said new cheat menu

NTR isn't broke because i use mine with Snickers and im on 11.8... if i knew what steps he took in getting CFW i might be able to go more in depth.

Update: I also read that it only works on New 3DS

Ok, I tried titledb, it still didn’t work,but now I’m just using sharkive instead. But thanks anyway for your help!
