Zelda games take around 4-6 years to be completed. So look forward to a 2021-2023 window (for a new main entry). Handheld could be, but it seems that is being merged with the Switch, so that date is likely.

My opinion based on how long Zelda games have taken

I do am aware that making those games take years
But I'm also aware that they don't work on a single game at a time
So, I'm asking if they might make a SS remake or such for early 2019
Because yes, BOTW got released on 2017, but they probably were working on another one at the same time, no?

I suspect they will keep milking BotW through this holiday season before they let anything drop about a new one. I just hope whatever they do is for the Switch and not 3DS.

Would be really of disappointed if they just release WWHD for Switch as the gap, but maybe make the most business sense.

well, sure, it MUST be on switch and not on 3ds
3ds family is slowly dying (its not dead, but its beginning to still)
also, as for a remake of WW on Switch, we already had it on wii u
Nah... I expect a SS remake, would fit with joycon ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Twilight Princess or Wind Waker ports first, seeing as Nintendo seems to be enjoying porting Wii U games at the moment. I'd also quite like to see a Skyward Sword port

well, I doubt we will see WW or TP on Switch
I mean, Gamecube Wii and Wii U all had the same architecture
So it was very easy for Nintendo to port them

Also, TP was released on 3 consoles, I highly doubt theyll release it on a fourth
We say we have to push our limits, but theres a limit too xd

Twilight Princess was released for the Nvidia Shield in China, which if i recall correctly, has similar hardware to the switch, so if Twilight Princess at least doesn't come to Switch, I don't think it'll be because of a technical limitation

it better have damn dungeons this time. botw was great and all but it was damn empty. apart from the shrines and tracking down boring seeds there really wasn't much to do in it...
