Capcom bringing three Resident Evil titles to the Nintendo Switch

IMG_1969.JPG

Capcom USA has announced that they'll be bringing some games from their Resident Evil series to the Nintendo Switch. Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will be available on the system sometime next year. No further details were given at this time, but Capcom's Twitter says more information will be given soon.

Wut? Each game barely maxes out of 5GB. Unless the Switch's carts size limit is 1GB you have nothing to worry about.

Everyone's lashing out for the fact the Switch is getting good Resident Evil titles even if its ports:

1- At least its not Resi 7 in cloud version
2- The last time Nintendo had Resident Evil 0, 1 and 4 was during the Gamecube era (and the choppy port of Resi 4 Wii Edition and Resi 0)
3- As long as its 1080p60 good ports then we have nothing to worry about.
4- If the games are good, why not make them available for purchase in every platform?
5. We need a new Nintendo-patient-zero Resident Evil game so it can be released with better features for other platforms, Revelations was shite.

They pulled that bullshit with Mega Man Legacy Collection, one half was one one cart, and the other half was digital. Megaman 1-10 is not that big with being less than 1 GB or so. I see them pulling the same BS with this.

I was not aware of that, would that require more programming work? If they had to split the game it would require more work, I don't see Capcom doing that but I don't see why they had to split ROMs either.

I don't know, I just know it was a dumbass decision, the game could have fit on one package, so they cheaped out, buy the "full game" have half on the cart and the other require download. Capcom can suck it.

HD releases of REmake and 4 on PC are a lot bigger than 10 gb

No excuse.
Regarding Resi 4, the PC version DOES go over 10Gb but the PS4 version doesn't go over 5GB. The PC version looks a lot better and with that being said, don't bet on Capcom porting the all mighty PC port to the Switch.

I've recently bought a Switch and I still don't know how to call it. What's better ? Indietendo or Portintendo Switch?

You are saying it, like it's a bad thing that they release indies games and ports.
Nope. The more titles ported and indie games released on Nintendo Switch, the more games i can play in the handheld mode and that makes Switch great. Although i'd love to see some exclusives form 3rd party stuidos.
It's just Indietendo sounds funny :D
