To be fair, this is the basis of High Level Emulation, which has been used extensively in certain emulation projects like the UltraHLE n64 emulator. It still had to emulate the cpu and other hardware in a conventional manner, but calls to graphics library functions etc were not emulated instruction-by-instruction like usual (low-level emulation), instead their overall function was replicated in native code (giving more speed but less accuracy).Aha, so emulation is not porting PSX firmware\libraries to Switch?
It should be possible to do so in Horizon. Is there any way to get a temp reading from the Tegra while playing, or would that only be possible in Lakka ?
I will be OCing my switch to 1200MHZ to play those sweet sweet PS1 JRPGs
I know Xenogears had some rendering issues in the first mountain area at the beginning of the game before the libretro team officially got into Switch development. It might have improved now without the need for overclocking (the only games I could see you absolutely needing it are the Tales games or that one sequence where Xenogears tries to be a fighter that's at least more fun than Star Wars: Masters of Trying to Fight with Input Lag)I will be OCing my switch to 1200MHZ to play those sweet sweet PS1 JRPGs

Welp seems like "Release" will be like in 8 months, better start making dynarec
people complain when things comes out too early and buggy and complain when things are being thoroughly testedWelp seems like "Release" will be like in 8 months, better start making dynarec
Isn't the switch gpu underclocked by like 10% already? So oc'ing it makes it the regular power of the actual off the shelf unit?
